“Models vs. Werewolves,” the new horror film from Charles Band and vertical production banner FMA – Full Moon Artists, has landed at microdrama platform ReelShort for its vertical premiere.
The film follows five models who retreat to a remote Airbnb during a rare full moon event that occurs once every 500 years, only to find themselves hunted by a pack of ancient werewolves. It stars Sarah Moliski, Rebecca Stoughton, Alexa Reddy, Sophie Swiszcz and Hannah Hueston, with Bella Mraz, and featuring Dee Wallace. Wallace is a genre veteran best known for her roles in “E.T.,” “Cujo,” “The Howling” and “Critters,” making her casting in a werewolf horror a natural fit. Danny Draven, whose previous credits include “Weedjies” and “Bad CGI Gator,” directs from a screenplay by J.P. Talbot, with Band producing.
The deal marks ReelShort’s second collaboration with Band, following the platform’s exclusive release of “Dungeons of Ecstacy,” which earned award recognition and built a dedicated fanbase on the service. “Models vs. Werewolves” is also the first licensed property within the joint Full Moon Features/FMA universe, representing a milestone for the fledgling vertical production company. FMA is co-partnered by Felix Merback, Moliski, Eric Guilmette and Rebecca Stoughton.

The pickup comes as ReelShort, owned by Silicon Valley-based Crazy Maple Studio, pushes deeper into Asia. The microdrama platform recently entered Southeast Asia through a telco partnership with AIS, Thailand’s largest 5G network provider, and has since unveiled a further deal with Philippine telecommunications giant Globe as part of a broader regional expansion push.
Following its ReelShort run, “Models vs. Werewolves” will receive a wider release in traditional widescreen format across Full Moon’s Tubi, Vudu and Prime Video channels, as well as on Blu-ray, beginning Aug. 16.
