Grab your baker boy caps; an immersive “Peaky Blinders” experience is coming to London, U.K.
The experience, called “Peaky Blinders Underworld,” will transport guests into the shadowy criminal world of Thomas Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy in the series) and his infamous gang via interactive gameplay, live entertainment and actor-led encounters.
Among the landmarks for fans to visit are the Shelby family’s iconic watering hole the Garrison Tavern, where live music, drinks and light bites will be available, as well as The Bookies, Chinatown and The Small Heath Fairground
Guests will even have the opportunity to join the Peaky Blinders – although first they’ll have to prove they have what it takes. And of course, there’s a gift shop to take home some souvenirs.
Produced by KMJ Entertainment in partnership with Banijay Rights, the experience is is set to launch in August at Arches London Bridge.
“‘Peaky Blinders Underworld’ is not just a recreation of the Shelby family’s world, but a much wider destination,” said “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight. “This venue gives fans the opportunity to socially engage with their beloved series through a completely new prism, while those less familiar with the show will find plenty to love about it too.”
The series is produced by Banijay U.K. labels Kudos and Garrison Drama and is available on the BBC in the U.K. and on Netflix in the rest of the world.
A standalone movie, “Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man” launched earlier this year. Two subsequent series, led by the next generation of the gang in the form of Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton are already in production in Birmingham, where the show is set, and are expected to land in 2027 and 2028.
