The “Rose Hill” Amazon Prime Video series has cast four lead roles.
Jake Weary (“The Waterfront,” “Animal Kingdom”), Sean O’Pry, Hannah Galway (“Under the Banner of Heaven,” “Sex/Life”), and Sadie Dickerson (“Just In Time” on Broadway, “Vladimir” Off Broadway) have all joined the show, which is based on the Rose Hill novels written by Elsie Silver. The show was greenlit at Prime Video in May.
The logline for the series states that it follows “best friends and neighbors West Belmont (Weary), a rancher with commitment issues, and brooding record label owner Ford Grant (O’Pry), aka Forbes’ “World’s Hottest Billionaire,” who’s long carried a torch for West’s sister, Rosie (Galway). And when country-pop star Skylar Stone (Dickerson) breezes into their rugged mountain town, the heat gets turned way up in this romantic family drama.”
Weary is repped by Gersh and Range Media Partners. O’Pry is repped by VNY Model Management and manger Lara Winters. Galway is repped by Play Management and 11:11 Entertainment. Dickerson is repped by Buchwald and Suskin/Karshan Management.
Heidi Cole McAdams serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer on “Rose Hill.” Marc Webb will direct the first two episodes and executive produce. Silver serves as an executive producer alongside Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and James Seidman for Temple Hill. Annika Patton of Temple Hill will co-executive produce.
There are currently four books in the “Rose Hill” series — “Wild Love,” “Wild Eyes,” “Wild Side,“ and “Wild Card.” In addition to those books, Silver has also published five “Chestnut Springs” books and four “Gold Rush Ranch” novels.
