Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has topped 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 — making it the longest run ever at the top of the chart for a non-holiday song.
The song passed Shaboozey’s 2024 hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” and “Old Town Road,” by Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus, with which it was tied for a 19-week run — and if it holds on for three more weeks, it will pass Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which holds the record with 22 weeks over the past seven years.

Langley’s hit has been certified six-times platinum, with more likely to come.
Ella recently launched the second leg of her sold-out Dandelion Tour, which continues through the fall with upcoming stops including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and two nights at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
