This weekend, boxing promoters Golden Boy Promotions travels to Chicago for prime title bout between two world-class fighters. American boxer Floyd Schofield goes head-to-head against Canadian fighter Lucas Bahdi for the vacant WBA lightweight championship title. The match is scheduled for 12 rounds.
On Saturday, Oct. 10, Schofield (19-0-0) vs. Bahdi (20-0-0) takes place at Wintrust Arena, in Chicago, Illinois with a start time of 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Ringwalk for the main event is expected around 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT.
With Floyd Schofield competing against Lucas Bahdi in Chicago, it’s likely the boxing event may feature a few of celebrities in attendance. Including fans who attended past fights, like Oscar De La Hoya, Jake and Logan Paul, Manny Pacquiao and others.
Meanwhile, going into the bout, Schofield is the heavy favorite to win the WBA title, thanks to his speed, agressiveness and explosive style. However, Bahdi could upset to claim a win for himself, especially since he has a calm demeanor, a low guard style and, most importantly, patience to strike when the pressure is turned on during a match.
