\nVariety <\/em>has announced the presenters for the inaugural Power of Women London taking place on June 3. The event, in partnership with A+E Global Media\u2019s Lifetime, celebrates the Power of Women honorees, who will each be featured on five different Variety <\/em>covers of the accompanying issue.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSaturday Night Live UK\u201d cast member and \u201cWeekend Update\u201d anchor and stand-up comedian Ania Magliano will host the event.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis year\u2019s presenters include theater and film director Thea Sharrock, who directed \u201cWicked Little Letters\u201d and \u201cMe Before You,\u201d and will present to Emilia Clarke. Award-winning actor Josh O\u2019Connor, who will next star in Steven Spielberg\u2019s upcoming film, \u201cDisclosure Day,\u201d will present to Emma Corrin; Edward Enninful OBE, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of the global media and entertainment company EE72, will present to Cynthia Erivo; Laurence Olivier Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated actor Tom Francis, who will next be seen in \u201cThe Mosquito Bowl,\u201d will present to Hannah Waddingham; and BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson, who directed \u201cBack to Black,\u201d will present to Suki Waterhouse.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThis year\u2019s honorees include Clarke, best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in \u201cGame of Thrones,\u201d for which she received four Primetime Emmy nominations and several Critics\u2019 Choice Awards, and is celebrating her SameYou charity for brain injury recovery; Corrin, the first non-binary honoree to be a part of Power of Women, who portrayed Diana, Princess of Wales in the fourth season of \u201cThe Crown,\u201d earning a Golden Globe and Critics\u2019 Choice Award, and is celebrating War Child, a foundation dedicated to improve the wellbeing of children living in armed conflict and Emmy, Tony, two-time Grammy Award-winning and three-time Academy Award-nominated Erivo, who recently starred as Elphaba Thropp in the Golden Globe-nominated \u201cWicked: For Good\u201d (2025) and received Academy Award nominations for leading roles in the award winning \u201cHarriet\u201d (2019), \u201cGenius: Aretha\u201d (2021) and \u201cWicked\u201d (2024), and will highlight The Shameless Fund, which raises cash through global brand collaborations to power up international, national and grassroots non-profits, to benefit LGBTQ+ causes. Honorees also include Waddingham, who will be hosting SNL UK Saturday, and will next be seen in Prime Video\u2019s new \u201cRide or Die\u201d and in the fourth season of Apple TV\u2019s \u201cTed Lasso,\u201d for which she won an Emmy and Two Critics Choice Awards (Golden Globe and Actor Award Nominations), and has been nominated for two Bafta TV Awards and Three Olivier Awards, and will be representing Make-A-Wish UK; and the critically acclaimed indie pop artist Waterhouse, who is set to release her new album \u201cLoveland\u201d in July, followed by her headlining tour and is representing Facing the World, which fights for children with facial disfigurement.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to the honorees, Variety<\/em> will publish its Women\u2019s Impact Report: London, recognizing the most important and influential women in the U.K. in entertainment and media. All women on the Impact List will be invited to the June 3 event.<\/p>\n

\nVariety<\/em> is an official Media Partner of SXSW London, and Variety<\/em> Power of Women London is part of the festival\u2019s weeklong programming.<\/p>\n
