\nWhere will it go from here? <\/em>That was the first thought running through my mind following the dramatic opening salvo to \u201cSummer House\u2019s\u201d three-part Season 10 reunion. We\u2019d already seen Ciara Miller (with an assist from Lindsay Hubbard) read Westling \u201cWest\u201d Wilson\u201d and Amanda Batula for filth over their illicit situationship. But, quite frankly, it does <\/em>make a little bit of sense for the ex-creative director of a canned cocktail company to be dating a Complexhypebeast whose journalistic claim to fame is interviewing Hawk Tuah on a boat \u2014 so it remained to be seen how Bravo\u2019s Andy Cohen and his gang of Hamptons interlopers would entertain us for two more hours.<\/p>\n

\n\tPlease forgive me for ever doubting you, Andy, because Part 2 delivered an embarrassment of reality TV riches, from West\u2019s not-to-secret ex-girlfriend Meija Moreno revealing herself (!) and Kyle Cooke\u2019s infidelity to the politics of interracial dating.<\/p>\n

\n\tHere are the five biggest moments.<\/p>\n

\nWest\u2019s Ex-Girlfriend Meija Speaks<\/strong> <\/h3>\n

\n\tAs we learned in Part 1 of the reunion, West had a girlfriend \u2014 Meija Moreno \u2014\u00a0 up until his March 24 appearance on \u201cWatch What Happens Live!\u201d He even shouted her out on the show, wearing one of her horsehair ties. This occurred one week before West and Amanda publicly announced their situationship on Instagram in a mealy-mouthed statement that sounded like it was written by ChatGPT.<\/p>\n

\n\tKyle teases the eventual Meija reveal by calling a huddle onstage with Kyle, Ciara, Carl, Ben and Mia during a break in the action, and insinuates that West got with Amanda for publicity purposes. \u201cThe thing that I\u2019m most focused on is West\u2019s ease of lying,\u201d he tells the group. \u201cWe know that he had a full-blown exclusive relationship since February of 2025. We actually have receipts<\/em>. I reached out to Meija because the curiosity got the best of me. We went back and forth for a week. Everything I started learning about West made me question who he is. And I was like, Meija, with your permission, I\u2019d like to share these notes with Ciara, because I think the two of you should talk. He knew [Amanda] was gonna have this glow-up \u2014 big breakup with \u2018the bad guy.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLater on, during another break, Ciara has a FaceTime chat with Meija and gives her \u201ca little recap\u201d of what\u2019s transpired during the reunion thus far, prompting Meija to divulge just how serious they were.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe were literally dating last summer while you guys were filming,\u201d she informs Ciara. \u201cHe referred to me as his \u2018girlfriend\u2019 all the time, we just weren\u2019t in a public relationship\u2026 I literally was at his house every weekend he was filming. We knew we were in an exclusive relationship. I go over there the night before \u2018Watch What Happens Live!,\u2019 everything was so fine, he was telling me how much he loves me and everything was just totally fine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMeija then explains to Ciara, who\u2019s been joined by Kyle, what West told her about why they couldn\u2019t go public with their relationship: \u201c[West] thinks he\u2019ll get fired from the show if he\u2019s in a relationship with someone who\u2019s not from the Bravosphere.\u201d (Kyle immediately calls BS on this.) \u201cThe other reason he would use, too, is if I bring you into this, obviously that\u2019s putting you in a situation where people have eyes on you and they\u2019ll have opinions about you. In hindsight, I\u2019m like, OK, so you were concerned about people maybe pitting me against Ciara if I ever came on the show as your public girlfriend, but you\u2019re very comfortable dumping me and then all of a sudden popping out the next day in a new relationship with Amanda, and I\u2019m just left on my own to figure that out by myself? That\u2019s just so fucking hurtful. I didn\u2019t ask to be thrown in this situation. Our relationship is that easy for him to discredit?!\u201d<\/p>\n

\nKyle\u2019s Cheating Takes Center Stage<\/strong> <\/h3>\n

\n\tAmanda\u2019s recent carelessness should not excuse the way Kyle treated her throughout their 10-year relationship (and four-year marriage), including the cheating rumors that constantly followed him around. First, Kyle accuses Amanda of \u201csetting the tone\u201d for the summer by jokingly remarking that he got into DJing to spite her after she proposed doing a swimsuit line (which we all saw happen). \u201cThe tone was set when you slept at a fan\u2019s apartment,\u201d Amanda fires back. \u201cAnd I went into the summer frustrated with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Kyle and Andy press Amanda on why she\u2019s sorta-dating a party boy now after Kyle\u2019s partying was such a problem for her, she exclaims, \u201cI\u2019m single! It\u2019s a different world.\u201d She then adds, \u201cIt wasn\u2019t that he was out every night, it was that he would come home blacked out, and there would be rumors about him all the time\u2026 I hated going out with Kyle<\/em>. He would get so drunk, and we\u2019d get in fights.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter branding West \u201ca kid\u201d and \u201cthe most fraudulent phony I\u2019ve ever met,\u201d Kyle shares that he and Amanda split the very day they put their statement out in January, and that he didn\u2019t even have a chance to warn his entire family before. \u201cYou were like, we\u2019ve gotta push to send [the announcement] within the hour,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe nail in the coffin was New Year\u2019s Day for me,\u201d Amanda counters, sharing her side. \u201cKyle and I were bickering. I didn\u2019t go to New Year\u2019s with him. I spent it myself; he spent it DJing at a restaurant. I woke up the next morning, [and] I saw that he was in a hotel at Hoboken. I\u2019m going into 2026 wanting to have a fresh start, and he\u2019s doing the same shit that he was doing that was pissing me off before. So, I waited until everyone was back in the office and I contacted Bravo PR immediately and I said, \u2018I\u2019m gonna put out a statement because I don\u2019t want people watching this season thinking that Kyle and I are still together after I was treated this way the whole time.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThen, Kyle sorta confesses to cheating on Amanda: \u201cThere have been times where I\u2019ve been out and I\u2019ve been inappropriate. I will own it. Did I ever have an affair? No. Did I ever sleep with someone? No. Have I been completely starved and deprived of anything and everything from you? Yeah, and I\u2019ve acted out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe has stepped out of the marriage while we were together,\u201d replies Amanda. \u201cAfter we were married, there was a time that you were at a party asking a girl if you\u2019d could kiss her and make out with her. She DM\u2019d me on a personal level. That was my point. That was my issue with you going out, was you putting yourself in these positions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAmanda says she was sent a video of Kyle making out at the club one night while he was out with Shep and Taylor, which we can assume is Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green from \u201cSouthern Charm.\u201d We also learn that Kyle made out with Salley Carson (also from \u201cSouthern Charm\u201d) the night before the \u201cSummer House\u201d premiere because of course they did. And Kyle hilariously argues he was not on his tippy-toes while kissing former \u201cReal Housewives of Orange County\u201d cast member Meghan King after a Page Six party: \u201cMy heels never left the ground \u2014 analyze the tapes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nCiara and Interracial Dating in the Bravosphere<\/strong> <\/h3>\n

\n\tThe most thought-provoking moment of the episode concerned the online minefield that is interracial dating in the Bravosphere, a network that features predominantly white casts. And it\u2019s none other than KJ, arguably the most empathetic and sensitive cast member, who broaches the topic while upbraiding West. \u201cMy dad was a very womanizing player and my mom had to deal with so much shit, so that\u2019s why I am hurting, West, because I don\u2019t <\/em>like that shit,\u201d KJ tells West. \u201cI grew up watching that firsthand, and it destroyed my family. My dad is a habitual liar. He lies to everyone, but then he puts on this persona like he\u2019s got everything together and he makes people feel good, so it\u2019s just, like \u2014 I\u2019m seeing a correlation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKJ adds, \u201cAlso, too, the discussion we had over the summer when we talked about race, that was a very serious thing. And I don\u2019t like to see Ciara being treated the way that she\u2019s being treated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier in Season 10, in the conversation KJ is citing, Ciara opened up to her castmates about the criticism she\u2019s received online after being repeatedly clowned by white guys (West and Austen Kroll) on \u201cSummer House,\u201d \u201cWinter House\u201d and \u201cSouthern Charm.\u201d \u201cI get a lot of blowback that\u2019s very racial, obviously, being in this position,\u201d she said. \u201cI was the first Black person in this house, and then dating white guys publicly, it\u2019s a whole contraption that I don\u2019t think you guys even understand or can even empathize with.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWest issues another one of his empty apologies to KJ and Ciara \u2014 wherein his voice de-crescendos to feign sincerity \u2014 and Ciara expands on KJ\u2019s piece and why she addressed the topic of interracial dating during the season.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s a whole other part that I have to endure and experience that my other castmates don\u2019t have to. I just hit the point where I was like, I\u2019m not going to sugarcoat things anymore,\u201d she says, adding, \u201cThere are a lot of racial dynamics that happen in this group \u2014 that\u2019s a part of having interracial relationships, interracial friendships, intercultural relationships and friendships. If I\u2019m having white friends, in this day and age, we\u2019re talking about race. How can we not? Politically speaking, it\u2019s turmoil<\/em> outside. I actually don\u2019t want to be friends if we\u2019re not talking about the political climate of this world, because there\u2019s a whole other layer that we experience it in, so the conversations are vital.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAmanda Leaves the Stage and West Doesn\u2019t Go After Her<\/strong> <\/h3>\n

\n\tOne of my personal highlights from Part 1 of the reunion was Lindsay berating West by calling him a \u201ctoddler.\u201d It was Lindsay at her fiery best, and we got more of that in Part 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Amanda rushes off the stage in tears and decamps to her dressing room, West declines to go after her, sitting around onstage like a deer in headlights. For West, optics and public sentiment are always paramount, so decisions like this tend to leave him catatonic as he ponders all the variables: \u201cWhat will they think of me if I did X?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCue the inimitable Lindsay Hubbard: \u201cWhy isn\u2019t her boyfriend going after her?\u201d she wonders, before laying into him, \u201cYou should go after your fucking girl! Get up and go after her, West! Be a fucking man<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI would go after her to make sure she\u2019s OK,\u201d chimes in Kyle, and then West finally does. We can hear him comforting Amanda on a hot mic and telling her, \u201cIf you have to cry onstage, cry onstage.\u201d Again, optics and public sentiment all day, all the time.<\/p>\n

\nA Lindsay and Carl Lovefest<\/strong> <\/h3>\n

\n\tMy favorite moment from the \u201cSummer House\u201d Season 10 finale went down in an igloo. There, Lindsay and Carl buried the hatchet, with Carl sincerely apologizing for dumping Lindsay on national television and Lindsay gaining the closure she\u2019d been searching for. That emotional t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate, as well as Lindsay showing up to support Carl at the opening of Soft Bar, are brought up by Andy during Part 2.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYeah, I think deep-down, I know even before we dated, Lindsay was always a champion of wanting me to do well in my career and wanting me to be happy. Her walking in the door that day meant the world to me,\u201d Carl says. \u201cI really appreciate you showing up. It was just cool to have you there, because I care about you and always will. Having her show up for something like that, given everything that\u2019s gone on and my behavior to her and how things unfolded, it just shows who Lindsay is and her character, and it was really cool. So, thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThank you for saying that,\u201d Lindsay responds. \u201cYou seem more in your skin \u2014\u00a0 you seem more confident<\/em> \u2014 and that is such a beautiful thing to see. Knowing you for as long as I\u2019ve known you, I do think that you are finally the person you\u2019re supposed to be and always wanted to be, and that\u2019s a beautiful thing to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAww<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tCarl and Lindsay reunited for a timely Uber Eats ad riffing on the viral Kyle line \u201cCarl\u2019s a mess,\u201d which Lindsay says they did to \u201cbring a lighthearted energy to a seemingly dark situation.\u201d When Andy asks Amanda and West how they feel about their friends \u201cmonetizing their situation,\u201d Amanda weighs in: \u201cI would have never done that to them during their breakup, and it did hurt a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEnter Ciara: \u201cPlease\u2026 Please\u2026 Please!\u201d she exclaims, adding, \u201cYou would never monetize something but you would fuck your friend\u2019s ex? We don\u2019t know where <\/em>your bar is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAlso, we\u2019ve been here for 10 years. I\u2019m sorry, but I can do whatever the fuck I want,\u201d says Lindsay.<\/p>\n
