\n\t\u201cLioness\u201d and \u201cThe Walking Dead\u201d actor Jay Huguley has joined the cast of \u201cAlly Clark,\u201d Phillip Noyce\u2019s upcoming Amazon MGM Studios thriller.<\/p>

\n\tThe film, starring and produced by EGOT winner Viola Davis, follows investigator Ally Clark as she uncovers a conspiracy involving an international conglomerate following the suspicious death of a close friend. Huguley\u2019s role has not been revealed.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWith a script by producers Jose Ruisanchez and Irwin Winkler, the $50 million production is taking place in Baton Rouge, La. and is expected to wrap in June. Rounding out the cast are Benjamin Bratt, Jason Clarke, Sydney Lemmon, Benjamin Beatty, Jefferson White, Chris Sullivan, Lily Santiago, Peter Macon, Alice Halsey and Sydney Lemmon.\n\n\t\n\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDavis\u2019 husband Julius Tennon also produces through the couple\u2019s JuVee Productions along with Winkler Films\u2019 Irwin Winkler, David Winkler and Charles Winkler. Production designer is Andrew Menzies with costume design by Megan Coates.<\/p>\n

\n\tBaton Rouge officials praised the production for economic development opportunities for the area during a press conference in April.<\/p>

\n\tThe movie takes place in Baton Rouge, New York City and Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

\n\tHuguley is repped by Greg Wapnik at Luber Roklin and Dawn Landrum at Landrum Arts.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to \u201cLioness\u201d and \u201cThe Walking Dead,\u201d Huguley\u2019s television credits also include \u201cLandman,\u201d \u201cOuter Banks, \u201cWill Trent,\u201d \u201cTrue Detective\u201d and \u201cFound.\u201d On the film front, he appeared in \u201cThe Panic, \u201cOn Swift Horses,\u201d \u201cThe Eyes of Tammy Faye\u201d and \u201c12 Years a Slave.\u201d\n\n\t\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHuguley will be seen in Apple TV\u2019s upcoming series adaptation of \u201cCape Fear\u201d starring Amy Adams, Javier Bardem and Patrick Wilson and the indie film \u201cDeath on the Brandywine.\u201d<\/p>\n
