Trump claimed that the people who were involved in the attack had \u201clost everything\u201d and that on the day, \u201cthey had FBI agents ushering them into the building.\u201d Welker repeatedly pushed back on the latter, asserting that Trump had \u201cno evidence of that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen with the weaponization fund,\u201d Trump stated. \u201cI love the idea, because people like you, the fake dirty press, the crooked press, people like stupid Biden, he\u2019s not smart enough to know what\u2019s going on, but people that surrounded him, surrounded his beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, what they did to the lives of people, they destroyed people. They sent people to jail who did nothing wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cJust to be very clear, there\u2019s no evidence of what you\u2019re saying,\u201d Welker replied.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTrump argued there was \u201ctremendous evidence\u201d before saying that \u201cthe election was rigged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAfter more back and forth (Welker claims \u201cno evidence,\u201d Trump doubles down), the President lashed out at Welker and \u201cMeet the Press.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=1537\">Box Office: \u2018The Super Mario Galaxy Movie\u2019 Becomes First 2026 Release to Cross $1 Billion<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cThey\u2019re crooked just like you\u2019re crooked, your press is crooked,\u201d Trump declared. \u201cAnd \u2018Meet the Press\u2019 is crooked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cTo be fair, I\u2019m not crooked,\u201d Welker said.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cWell, you play right into their hands then,\u201d Trump replied. \u201cYou\u2019re either crooked or you\u2019re stupid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tEventually, Trump had enough and told Welker before walking off, \u201cYou\u2019re a one-sided crooked network. Sorry. Let\u2019s call it quits because I\u2019ve had enough. Thank you, darling.
