That dual background sits at the center of \u201cSamuelito,\u201d which places Latin influences at the forefront while routing traditional rhythmic structures through a contemporary, globally oriented sensibility. The hybrid sound is aimed at listeners across multiple international markets.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe album title derives from \u201cSamuelito,\u201d a childhood nickname that has followed the artist through his life.
