But when tourists start turning up dead, he\u2019s reluctantly drawn back into detective work. Dennis is egged on by his barmaid Rosa, a crime drama superfan, played by Carolina B\u00e9cquer. Hannah is set to attend the show\u2019s launch.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cEmergency 53,\u201d which bowed for buyers earlier this year at the prestigious Berlinale Series Market \u2014 where it won the Studio Babelsberg Production Excellence Award \u2014 follows a series of doctors, nurses and drivers of a special mobile service unit as they navigate personal and professional dramas while burdened by the responsibility to prevent others from dying.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAlso having their international launches at the rapidly growing Italian TV fest are espionage thriller \u201cSecret Service,\u201d directed by Oscar winner James Marsh and starring Gemma Arterton; Korean thriller \u201cSpeaking Dead,\u201d directed by Lee Jung-hyo; and the Scott Free-produced anthology series \u201cThe Terror With Devil in Silver,\u201d the first U.S. title competing at the fest, with stars Judith Light and CCH Pounder making the trek to Riccione.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe fest\u2019s Limited Series section will open with France\u2019s \u201cLe Rouge et Le Noir,\u201d a new adaptation of Stendhal\u2019s\u00a0\u201cThe Red and the Black,\u201d\u00a0starring Victor Belmondo and featuring Camille Razat and Virginie Ledoyen, both of whom will attend in Rimini alongside director Ga\u00ebl Morel.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=1571\">Samuel Releases \u2018Samuelito,\u2019 Blending Latin, Reggaeton and K-Pop<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tFrom the U.K. comes the world bow of Channel 4\u2019s drama \u201cFalling,\u201d the first romance from \u201cAdolescence\u201d writer Jack Thorne, directed by Peter Hoar. The Limited Series section\u2019s international premieres\u00a0are Prague-set noir\u00a0\u201cThe Widow Killer\u201d and historical epic \u201cRaza Brava,\u201d set in the world of Santiago\u2019s violent soccer fans, known as ultras, during the dictatorship of Chilean general Augusto Pinochet. French series \u201cLaura\u2019s Treatment,\u201d starring Val\u00e9rie Bonneton, will also be screening with her in tow.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe fest\u2019s comedy section comprises Belgium\u2019s \u201cBoho,\u201d set in Antwerp\u2019s multicultural neighborhood of Borgerhout; award-winning German comedy\u00a0\u201cThe Flaws,\u201d created by a theater collective and produced by Berlin-based indie Razor Film; and, from\u00a0BBC Northern Ireland, \u201cLeonard and Hungry Paul,\u201d starring Alex Lawther and featuring the voice of Julia Roberts. BritBox drama\u00a0\u201cRiot Women,\u201d directed by the U.K.\u2019s Sally Wainwright is also screening, with her attending alongside \u201cRiot Women\u201d star Tamsin Greig.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tItalian Global Series Festival will also be celebrating the 60th\u00a0anniversary of \u201cStar Trek.\u201d Actress\u00a0Jeri Ryan, known for her iconic role as Seven of Nine in the\u00a0Star Trek\u00a0universe, is set to hold a talk on contemporary female role models in TV. An onstage conversation between producer\u00a0David W.
