\n\tNot only did Taylor Swift make a surprise appearance at the world premiere of \u201cToy Story 5\u201d on Tuesday night in Los Angeles, but she also performed after the screening.<\/p>\n

\n\tTaking to the stage, Swift played the piano while singing \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You,\u201d her new song on the \u201cToy Story 5\u201d soundtrack.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt means the world to me to be a small part of the universe of these films,\u201d Swift told the audience. \u201c\u2018Toy Story 5\u2019 is my favorite of all the \u2018Toy Storys.\u2019 I\u2019m so lucky I get to be a part of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe said of the movie, \u201cIt\u2019s insanely beautiful. It\u2019s a masterpiece.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe also sang \u201cYou\u2019ve Got a Friend in Me\u201d with Randy Newman.<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift didn\u2019t do step and repeat on the red carpet earlier in the evening, but showed up for a big cast photo. Her attendance at the Dolby Theatre festivities comes on the heels of the release of her new song on the soundtrack, \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift posted a message on social media when the song was released June 4 that included a vintage home video of herself as a little girl, marching in a red cowgirl hat and a shirt embroidered with boots. \u201cWriting this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once,\u201d she wrote. :And being a\u00a0@toystory\u00a0kid from the age of 5 til now\u2026 is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n
