\n\t\u201cI think it\u2019ll get a little bit easier.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThose were the famous last words uttered by Westling \u201cWest\u201d Wilson when we last left him in Part 2 of the \u201cSummer House\u201d Season 10 reunion. That it was spliced with footage of his secret ex-girlfriend, Meija Moreno, confessing to Ciara Miller and Kyle Cooke via FaceTime that West had lied like crazy about their relationship status portended certain doom.<\/p>\n

\n\tPart 3 \u2014 and yes, reader, I, too, am exhausted at this point \u2014 began with 10 minutes straight of denials from Amanda Batula and West that anything physical has transpired between them prior to her split from Kyle, though West does acknowledge that an emotional connection had formed over the summer during his white knight campaign, and that the situationshippers had gaslit all their friends into thinking the online rumors surrounding their coupling was fake news.<\/p>\n

\n\tMia Calabrese, thankfully, takes a sledgehammer to the monotony with a pressing question:<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAmanda and West: Did you honestly just come forward because there was so much speculation, or were you guys going to continue to lie to us?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAmanda admits the two came forward \u201cbecause of the speculation,\u201d and because \u201cthere were a lot of things that I was still trying to understand and figure out, including the Meija situation,\u201d not because of the damage she\u2019d caused to her friendship with Ciara. And West, after plenty of his typical waffling and BS denials, finally confesses that he was seeing a number of women during the summer, even though Meija \u201cthought we were in an exclusive relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe revelation earns him a stunned look from Amanda.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile there was no big bombshell in Part 3 of the reunion a la Season 10 of \u201cVanderpump Rules,\u201d it did provide some catharsis for Ciara, who was able to express to Amanda just how much she\u2019d cared for her and the damage she\u2019d caused by caving to West\u2019s advances.<\/p>\n

\n\tAddressing Amanda, Ciara \u2014 through tears \u2014 recalls how hurt she was by Amanda\u2019s lack of transparency. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou fucking texted me 24 hours before your fucking statement was going to come out finally admitting the truth of it. Meanwhile, I\u2019m calling Kyle like, \u2018What the fuck is this?\u2019 When I have done nothing but be there for you?\u201d she exclaims. \u201cAnd Lindsay has to come and pick me up off the bathroom floor so I can go and do my fucking job, OK? Because I couldn\u2019t fathom that I would be sitting right here today pissed that you\u2019re fucking my ex.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCiara goes on to accuse West of pursuing Amanda to get back at her:<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf anything you would [think], he wants revenge against her because he resents her so fucking much. But that never even crossed your mind because he wants <\/em>to embarrass me, he wants<\/em> to get his last little word. This is his last little word, and I hope it works because he\u2019s with you to spite me. So, have fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTears stream down the face of poor Jesse Solomon throughout Part 3 (\u201cI feel like I\u2019m losing a brother,\u201d he mutters), and Kyle cries out of sympathy for his former wife on several occasions, even embracing her with a deep hug during a break. But Amanda continues to show very little emotion or register the amount of pain that she has caused to not just Ciara, but Kyle and the entire friend group, merely reciting unconvincing lines of apology (\u201cI did a really shitty thing,\u201d \u201cit kills me to know that I have caused you this pain,\u201d etc.). Host Andy Cohen repeatedly presses her throughout Part 3 about the heavy toll of her actions, and Amanda can\u2019t seem to muster an ounce of genuine contrition.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd still<\/em>, Ciara, a true ride or die, has no regrets about pushing her former bestie to break up with Kyle, because it was the best thing for her at the time, even invoking her own mother.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAt the time my friend was unhappy, and I wanted her to be happy, and I wanted her to feel a sense of relief,\u201d she says. \u201cI wanted her to be able to think about herself, and what she wants in this life. That made me sad to see a woman not believe in herself and not think she was worth anything, or not think that she was worthy of something so great or that her value equated to the man that she was dating, or that she completely obliterated her own dreams in order to fall in line with a guy that she\u2019s married to. I\u2019ve never seen that type of relationship in my life, but I\u2019ve also never seen a healthy marriage in my life. I\u2019ve seen a woman that had to fight tooth-and-nail to support two kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe question of West\u2019s (and Amanda\u2019s?) lack of emotion throughout the reunion is finally answered toward the end of Part 3, when a frustrated Cohen finally asks West: \u201cNo offense, but are you on a bunch of beta blockers or what?\u201d and West replies, \u201cI did take a beta blocker\u2026 I apologize that I don\u2019t read emotional enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWest apologizing that he doesn\u2019t \u201cread\u201d emotional enough is telling. This is a man who is always performing \u2014 for women, the \u201cSummer House\u201d audience, you name it \u2014 and is mostly concerned with how his portrayal comes across, not the way his actions impact others or even himself. And that is a big reason why, when Mia says, \u201cWe did this for 10 hours [and] I still have no clarity\u201d during a break, she\u2019s illustrating the frustrations of the audience as well. You can\u2019t get clarity from someone who can\u2019t see clearly \u2014 or the vulnerable woman under his spell.<\/p>\n

\n\tI\u2019ll leave Ciara with the final word on the reunion: \u201cI think in some ways, it was cathartic. It\u2019s nice to be able to move on with my life.\u201d Amen.<\/em> <\/p>\n

\n\tBut wait: Following the conclusion of the three-part reunion, Bravo announced that fans will be treated to one more episode of \u201cSummer House.\u201d Yes, \u201cSummer House: The Aftermath,\u201d airing next Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST, will pick up three weeks after the Season 10 reunion and feature conversations between Amanda and Lindsay, West and Kyle, and Ciara and Meija. Hopefully, they will provide the \u201cclarity\u201d that Mia (and viewers) are desperately seeking.<\/p>\n
