\n\tDuring his \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live\u201d monologue on Tuesday, the late-night host riffed on Pratt\u2019s loss \u2014 and even rented the former reality star a U-Haul \u2014 after Nithya Raman overtook him and advanced to a November runoff against Karen Bass.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSpencer Pratt was in second place early on, but now with 97% of the votes counted, has dropped to third behind L.A. City Council member Nithya Raman and incumbent mayor Karen Bass,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cThey will go to a November runoff against each other \u2014 Spencer Pratt will not. And the MAGA crowd is now using this to try to claim the election was rigged.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIndeed, after Pratt established an early lead, Raman \u2014 a progressive Democrat \u2014 leapt over him earlier this week with 28.55% of the vote compared to Pratt\u2019s 25.83%. Bass remains the candidate to beat with 34.32%. Pratt, who gained an endorsement from President Donald Trump, decided to get into politics after his home was destroyed in the L.A. fires last year. Before that, his main claim to fame was his role on the reality series \u201cThe Hills\u201d alongside wife Heidi Montag. <\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel continued that Pratt \u201cclearly promised that if Karen Bass or Nithya Raman were elected mayor, that he was going to move out of L.A. \u2026 And Spencer, if you\u2019re watching, we are so, so sorry to see you go. We\u2019re going to miss the hell out of you. You\u2019re a man of your word, and you gotta go.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show then cut to footage of a U-Haul, which displayed the words \u201cjust defeated\u201d on the side alongside artwork of a sad-looking Pratt and metal cans attached to the back with streamers. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI know things might be tight right now, especially with the out-of-state donation money running out. Moving is expensive, so to help you out we rented you a U-Haul,\u201d Kimmel joked. \u201cOur staff spent the whole day decorating for you, and everybody will notice you and wave goodbye as you leave.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel concluded his monologue by saying: \u201cI hope that you and Heidi are happy wherever it is you go \u2014 maybe you could be mayor there! Or maybe just run for mayor and finish in third place there, it could be fun for your new reality show. Either way, Mazel Tov and goodbye, Spencer Pratt!\u201d <\/p>\n
