He is a two-time Emmy and two-tome Golden Globe nominee, all four of which were for playing title roles. He was nominated for both awards for \u201cThe Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story\u201d and the other two noms for \u201cCarlos\u201d in which he played Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, aka Carlos the Jackal. The first season holds a 96% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is widely regarded as a strong contender for this year\u2019s Emmy Awards.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBrad Inglesby created the series and also serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner. Ruffalo executive produces in addition to starring. Paul Lee and Mark Roybal executive produce for wiip along with Jeremiah Zagar and Ron Schmidt. Nicole Jordan-Webber and Karen Wacker are co-executive producers.
