\nAriana Grande has blasted the White House for using a version of her 2024 song \u201cBye\u201d in a TikTok post that depicted ICE agents arresting and handcuffing people.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrande commented on the TikTok post from earlier this week, telling the administration to cease using her songs. \u201cPlease do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense,\u201d she wrote in her comment, according to Reuters.<\/p>\n

\n\tA spokesperson for Grande confirmed to Variety<\/em> that Grande made the comment, but \u201cfor some reason it\u2019s not publicly visible\u201d on the post. Her team is also looking to remove the sound from the video.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement shared with Variety<\/em>, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson wrote, \u201cWe\u2019ll say this one last time: what\u2019s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThis isn\u2019t the first time that Grande has called out the Trump administration and its supporters. In September 2025, she reshared a post on her Instagram that criticized the administration for ICE raids and transphobic rhetoric, as well as other threats to democracy. The post was originally written by activist Matt Bernstein as a \u201ccheck-in\u201d for Trump supporters.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhite House Deputy Press Secretary Kush Desai responded to Grande directly by punning off of her song titles. \u201cSave your tears, Ariana. Because President Trump\u2019s actions ended Joe Biden\u2019s inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investment,\u201d he said. \u201cHe even signed an executive order just like magic that paved the way for the FTC to crack down on Ticketmaster for ripping off Ariana Grande\u2019s concert-going fans. Get well soon, Ariana!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGrande previously supported Democratic nominee Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential election, and performed for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the 2014 \u201cIn Performance at the White House: Women of Soul\u201d event. She is currently on her \u201cEternal Sunshine\u201d tour, with plans to perform at Los Angeles\u2019 Crypto.com Arena this Saturday.<\/p>\n
