\n\tPawan Kalyan Creative Works confirmed to Variety<\/em> that the the sequel is in active development, with the shoot expected to commence after November this year. Discussions will begin as soon as director Sujeeth returns from abroad.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe production house addressed the timeline directly on X. \u201cAs promised, he will. The timing, he will let us know. Once @Sujeethsign returns from abroad, we will discuss,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement builds on the success of \u201cThey Call Him OG,\u201d the Telugu-language crime action drama released in 2025. The film follows Ojas Gambheera, a retired gangster who resurfaces in Bombay in 1993 after a decade in exile to confront a rising crime lord, Omi Bhau. Produced by DVV Entertainment, it grossed $35 million, emerging as the ninth-highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe result added another entry to a career defined by outsized commercial performances. Kalyan\u2019s \u201cGabbar Singh\u201d (2012) marked a blockbuster comeback, while \u201cAttarintiki Daredi\u201d (2013) was the highest-grossing Telugu film of its time, and \u201cVakeel Saab\u201d (2021) and \u201cBheemla Nayak\u201d (2022) both drew strong returns in the post-pandemic period.<\/p>\n

\n\tSujeeth, who previously directed \u201cSaaho,\u201d wrote and directed \u201cThey Call Him OG,\u201d shaping the character of Ojas Gambheera around Pawan Kalyan\u2019s screen image. Composer Thaman S, working with Kalyan for the fourth time, provided a score that drove much of the film\u2019s commercial energy. Production took place in between Kalyan\u2019s political commitments following his appointment as Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith Sujeeth\u2019s return now the trigger for sequel discussions to begin formally, the next chapter for Ojas Gambheera moves from rumor into confirmed territory.<\/p>\n
