We are bereft without her. We loved her so so much, as did all who met her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThey added: \u201cShe was a force. And it is unimaginable to think about life without her in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSchedeen got her start in summer stock theater, before scoring a recurring role on the\u00a0NBC medical drama\u00a0\u201cEmergency!\u201d and guest-starring as the daughter of the title character in ABC\u2019s \u201cMarcus Welby, M.D.\u201d  She also appeared opposite Rock Hudson and Diane Ladd in the 1976 sci-fi horror film\u00a0<br \/>Embryo\u201d and alongside\u00a0Lucie Arnaz and Craig Wasson in 1983\u2019s \u201cSecond Thoughts.\u201d She would co-star in 1984\u2019s \u201cPaper Dolls\u201d with Lauren Hutton and Morgan Fairchild, but the ABC soap opera was pulled after 14 episodes. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=2186\">Turkish Director Reis \u00c7elik Brings Military Coup Drama \u2018Night of Blindness\u2019 to Shanghai<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tIt was on \u201cALF\u201d that Schedeen found fame as Kate Tanner, a no-nonsense mom trying to keep the government from discovering the extraterrestrial who has crash landed in their garage. The sitcom ran from 1986-1990 and was initially a ratings hit for NBC. However, because \u201cALF\u201d relied on hand-operated puppets\u00a0it was a technical challenge and after moving the series from its traditional Monday night slot to Saturday and then Sunday, it was cancelled due to declining viewership. <\/p>\n<p>\n\tAfter the show ended, Schedeen\u2019s career dialed down.
