His character is based on the babo horangi, a recurring figure in Korean\u00a0minhwa, a style of traditional folk painting that flourished during the Joseon era. The new set will let builders assemble the mischievous supernatural messenger and his watchful bird companion.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLast year, Mattel and\u00a0Hasbro were named a global co-master toy licensees for \u201cKPop Demon Hunters.\u201d Themed products such as Uno, Monopoly, and dolls tied to the film have been released, with more to come.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe news comes as part of \u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d celebrates its one year anniversary. Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the film follows KPop girl group Huntr\/X who lead double lives as demon hunters.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAfter its debut on Netflix in June, \u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d viewership went up, up, up. According to end-of-year Nielsen data, the Netflix title was by far the most-streamed movie of 2025 with a whopping 20.5 billion viewing minutes in the U.S. alone.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe accolades also poured in.
