\n\tUniversal also secured the runner-up slot with Curry Barker\u2019s horror-romance \u201cObsession.\u201d In its fifth frame, the breakout title continued its remarkable run, taking $2 million to bring its cumulative total to $17.9 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tParamount\u2019s horror parody reboot \u201cScary Movie\u201d was third in its sophomore session, banking $3.5 million. The film has now collected a 10-day total of $9.6 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tA24\u2019s viral horror \u201cBackrooms\u201d followed at number four, capturing $1.3 million in its third weekend of release and has accumulated a strong $9.6 million cume. \u201cMasters Of The Universe,\u201d distributed by Sony, rounded out the top five in its second weekend, pulling in $1.1 million to slide its running total to $5.7 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tUniversal\u2019s musical biopic \u201cMichael\u201d held the number six position in its eighth week, capturing $985,027 for a cumulative total of $69.4 million. Disney\u2019s \u201cStar Wars\u201d spinoff \u201cThe Mandalorian And Grogu\u201d landed in seventh place during its fourth frame, adding $672,122 to lift its cume to $20 million. <\/p>\n

\n\tTrafalgar Releasing took eighth place with the concert event \u201cBTS World Tour \u2018Arirang\u2019 in Busan: Live Viewing,\u201d which launched to $390,675. Disney\u2019s \u201cThe Devil Wears Prada 2\u201d claimed the ninth spot in its seventh week with $317,685, bringing its cume to $45.49 million. \u201cThe Sheep Detectives,\u201d distributed by Sony, filled out the top 10 in its sixth frame, adding $309,705 for a total of $12.8 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tLooking ahead to the upcoming theatrical frame, the release schedule is led by Disney\u2019s anticipated animation sequel \u201cToy Story 5,\u201d opening wide across over 300 locations on June 19. Bakrania Media will also active a heavy footprint during the week, starting with a June 16 launch of \u201cWelcome To The Jungle,\u201d alongside June 19 arrivals of \u201cCocktail 2\u201d and \u201cJindagi Once More.\u201d Anime audiences will see Anime Ltd roll out Mamoru Oshii\u2019s 1985 classic \u201cAngel\u2019s Egg\u201d on June 17. <\/p>\n

\n\tIndependent contemporary titles hitting screens on June 19 include Central City Media\u2019s \u201cGirlfriends,\u201d and Sarah Friedland\u2019s \u201cFamiliar Touch.\u201d Additional releases include Lotus Visual Productions\u2019 \u201cCactus Pears,\u201d alongside the specialized independent titles \u201cEffi O Blaenau,\u201d \u201cNino,\u201d \u201cVirginia Woolf\u2019s Night & Day\u201d via Vue Lumi\u00e8re, \u201cLesbian Space Princess,\u201d \u201cKilling Anna,\u201d and Radiance Films\u2019 release \u201cTwo Boxes: La cabina + El televisor.\u201d<\/p>\n
