Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the story centers on a deaf teenager unraveling the violent secrets of her family\u2019s buried past. But her breakout role came in the \u201cQuiet Place\u201d films, where she stars as Regan, a deaf girl whose family fights to survive in a world invaded by blind alien creatures with ultra-sensitive hearing. Simmonds is currently in production on the fourth installment of the blockbuster sci-fi\/horror franchise, \u201cA Quiet Place Part III,\u201d due out in 2027. Her latest film, \u201cPretty Lethal,\u201d premiered at SXSW earlier this year. In addition to her big-screen roles, she starred in the Broadway play \u201cGrey House\u201d alongside Tatiana Maslany and directed by Tony-winner Joe Mantello. Simmonds, a BAFTA Rising Star Award nominee and an alum of Variety\u2019s Power of Young Hollywood Impact List, is represented by Untitled Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAfter meeting on the set of \u201cCommunity\u201d in 2011, Costa and Celeboglu formed a creative partnership, which produced the award-winning and genre-bending short films \u201cThe Bride\u201d and \u201cThe Internet Kills.\u201d The shorts caught the attention of the Russo Brothers, and AGBO produced their feature debut, \u201cAll Fun &amp; Games.\u201d The film, starring Asa Butterfield and Natalia Dyer, was distributed by Vertical Entertainment and Hulu.
