\nPrime Video Spain unveiled 13 new titles plus production updates in Madrid on Wednesday, led by the announcement of a second \u201cZeta\u201d movie, starring Mario Casas (\u201cCross the Line\u201d), details of \u201cEnfrentados: Marfil,\u201d starring Ester Exp\u00f3sito, and first look images of \u201cSu Majestad,\u2019 Season 2, headed by Anna Castillo (\u201cNowhere\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tAt a Prime Video Presents event, it also confirmed \u201cOperaci\u00f3n Triunfo 2027,\u201d hosted by Chenoa, broadcast live daily, a rarity for a streaming service, plus the return of a Spanish version of \u201cLOL: Si te r\u00edes, pierdes\u201d with Antonio Resines and Georgina Rodr\u00edguez (\u201cI Am Georgina\u201d), who debuts as a co-host.\u00a0\u201cLOL\u201d will bow in Christmas, Resines said. <\/p>\n

\n\tAmong new shows are \u201cSi los muertos hablaran,\u201d with Carmen Machi (\u201cLa Mes\u00edas\u201d), Hugo Silva (\u201cMarbella\u201d) and Maribel Verd\u00fa (\u201cPan\u2019s Labyrinth,\u201d \u201cY tu mam\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n\u201d), the series \u201cMatale\u00f3n\u201d and a film version of Alex M\u00edrez\u2019s Wattpad smash.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tCelebrating its 10th anniversary in Spain, Prime Video also confirmed Spain as its No. 1 non-English powerhouse, with its originals yielding more hits in Prime Video\u2019s Global Non-English Top 10 than any other country in the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tIt already confirmed this February that Prime Video Spain\u2019s Spanish-language \u201cCulpables\u201d film franchise \u2013 \u201cMy Fault\u201d (2023), \u201cYour Fault\u201d (2024) and\u00a0\u201cOur Fault\u201d (2025), based on Mercedes Ron\u2019s Wattpad novels \u2013\u00a0 had collectively shot past 100 million viewers. \u201cOur Fault\u201d featured as No. 1 in Prime Video\u2019s Top 10 most-watched non-English language international originals over January 2025 to January 2026. All three films became No. 1 in more than 170 countries at launch, with over 90% of viewers coming from outside Spain.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tMovies such as \u201cApocalipsis Z: El principio del fin,\u201d bowing 2024, and \u201cZeta,\u201d made available March 26 this year, rank among the most-watched titles on the service internationally, it added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c10 years ago, we arrived in Spain and shortly after took our first steps producing movies and TV series here,\u201d said Nicole Clemens, vice president and head of international originals at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cToday, Spanish productions are not only delighting local audiences in Spain, but also feature prominently across our global non-English language rankings week after week and that is no coincidence: it is the result of backing local talent, authentic stories that work here first and then travel the world. With the new projects we are presenting today, like \u2018Si los muertos hablaran\u2019 or \u2018Cuando solo quedemos nosotros,\u2019 we continue to strengthen our already exceptional pipeline in Spain.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNew titles announced underscore a focus on action thrillers (\u201cApocalipsis Z: Un nuevo mundo,\u201d \u201cZeta 2\u201d); young adult, often sourced from Mercedes Ron, such as \u201cEnfrentados: Marfil\u201d and her \u201cD\u00edmelo\u201d film trilogy; crime\/true crime (\u201cSi los muertos hablaran,\u201d \u201cCuando solo quedemos nosotros\u201d and \u201cMatale\u00f3n\u201d) and new auteur-driven projects, such as \u201cLoba Negra,\u201d the second season in the \u201cLa Reina Roja\u201d franchise, directed by Koldo Serra, set for release Oct. 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeeking to appeal to the whole of a now fractured market in Spain, as elsewhere, with multiple niches, Prime Video Spain also buys series for Spain. \u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s important to have diversity,\u201d Reverte said at Prime Video Presents. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe have spent a decade working side by side with production companies, distributors and broadcasters in Spain, and the relationship we have today with the industry is something we are very proud of,\u201d said Manuel Reverte, head of content acquisition in Spain and Portugal. \u201cThanks to those partnerships we can offer customers films like \u2018Haciendo Amigos,\u2019 which will be the event of the summer in cinemas, series and innovative formats like \u2018Citas,\u2019 which this year combines a theatrical release with an exclusive series, the new season of \u2018Pombo\u2019 or Season 18 of \u2018La que se avecina.\u2019 Ultimately, everything revolves around giving our customers the best possible experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAt Prime Video Presents, the streaming service aloso previewed several movies set for theatrical release in Spaom before playing on the streaming service, such as \u201cCitas Barcelona,\u201d set as a movie and exclusive series for Prime Video, and \u201cHechos Probados,\u201d starring Amaia Salamanca (\u201cGran Hotel\u201d). \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t* \u201cCuando solo quedemos nosotros\u201d<\/strong> Based on In\u00e9s Garber\u2019s novel, a series described as a psychological thriller with romantic undertones in which nine strangers find themselves locked in a mansion, forced to take part in a deadly game. Directed by Samantha L\u00f3pez (\u201cTodo Arde\u201d) and starring Pau Sim\u00f3n and Judith Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n

\n\t* \u201cApocalypse Z: A New World\u201d<\/strong> A sequel to \u201dApocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End,\u201d also produced by Nostromo Pictures, which when it bowed in October 2024, was announced as Prime Video\u2019s most viewed original non-English movie of all time. The second iteration expands the post-apocalyptic universe with more action and an ensemble story and arrives on Prime Video worldwide this Halloween, Prime Video said. Directed by Carles Torrens once again and starring Carlos Alcaide, Julia Mart\u00ednez, M\u00f3nica L\u00f3pez, Tamara Casellas and Santiago Vaca Narvaja. The second film will explore facets of the protagonist from other viewpoints, said Torrens. An excerpt screened at Prime Video Presents suggested the scale, high stakes and production ambition of Season 2. <\/p>\n

\n\t* \u201cEnfrentados: Marfil\u201d<\/strong> The first part of the duology directed by Oscar Pedraza and starring Ester Exp\u00f3sito and Hugo Diego Garc\u00eda, which bows on Prime Video this September worldwide.\u00a0Prime Video Presents screened a steamy but brief scene in a lift between Exp\u00f3sito and Garc\u00eda\u2019s characters. <\/p>\n

\n\t* \u201cD\u00edmelo con besos\u201c <\/strong>Again, inspired by Mercedes Ron novels, the third and final installment completing the trilogy, ahead of the premiere of the second film \u201cD\u00edmelo en secreto,\u201d arriving in early 2027. The saga is headlined by Alicia Falc\u00f3, Fernando L\u00edndez and Diego Vidales. In \u2018Dime con besos\u2019 nothing is what it seems,\u201d Ron said at Prime Video Presents..<\/p>\n

\n\t* \u201cPerfectos Mentirosos\u201d<\/strong> An original film based on Alex M\u00edrez\u2019s novel which has accumulated over 140 million reads on Wattpad.
