Without the internet back then, it\u2019s a bit more romantic, we want to emphasize the nostalgic romance [of the period],\u201d Suciadi says.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe film is also inspired by the Indonesian love song \u201cCintaku Tak Terbatas Waktu\u201d (Unlimited Love), popularized by singer Anie Carera and released in the same year the film is set.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=2336\">Netflix, Prime Video, Disney and Warner Bros. Stories of the Chinese diaspora in Southeast Asia have been very much on audiences\u2019 radar in recent months, with the runaway success of \u201cDear You\u201d at the Chinese box office. That film discussed the trials and tribulations of Chinese who emigrated to Thailand after WWII, and the families they left behind in China.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cWe hope next year, we can still come here again.\u201d Suciadi says.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe film will be a reunion of sorts, with a number of crew from \u201cMy Own Last Supper\u201d joining the production. Music producer Charlie Meliala, who has composed scores for four of Basbeth\u2019s films, will reprise his role for \u201cLove Letters\u201d.
