\nTrafalgar Releasing, the U.K.-based event cinema distributor, has established a dedicated Korean subsidiary, Trafalgar Korea, and appointed Sokyung Jung as head of acquisitions, Asia \u2013 its first hire for the new Seoul-based entity.<\/p>\n

\n\tJung joins from Hybe Co., Ltd., where she worked on the commercialization of content from the label\u2019s artist roster, including BTS, Seventeen and Enhypen, collaborating directly with the Trafalgar Releasing team on the company\u2019s global event cinema releases.<\/p>\n

\n\tTrafalgar Releasing has operated in the K-pop space since 2018, when it released \u201cBTS: Burn The Stage The Movie.\u201d Subsequent titles include \u201cBTS: Yet To Come in Cinemas\u201d \u2013 which at release stood as the all-time top-grossing event cinema title \u2013 as well as \u201cBlackpink World Tour [Born Pink] in Cinemas,\u201d \u201cSeventeen Tour \u2018Follow\u2019 Again to Cinemas,\u201d \u201cAteez World Tour [Towards the Light: Will to Power] in Cinemas\u201d and \u201cIU Concert: The Winning.\u201d<\/p>\n
