\nAmazon\u2018s Wondery is aiming to amplify the game of Boardroom, the media company founded by NBA champion Kevin Durant and his business partner Rich Kleiman, under a wide-ranging deal.<\/p>\n

\n\tUnder the agreement, Wondery will have exclusive distribution and ad-sales rights to Boardroom\u2019s slate of podcasts and digital series. It also plans to create new brand and fan engagement opportunities for Boardroom\u2019s marquee live events, along with annual Twitch livestreams with Durant himself. Founded in 2019, Boardroom focuses on the intersection of sports, entertainment and business.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoardroom\u2019s content portfolio includes the Cover Story and \u201cBoardroom Talks\u201d franchises, featuring a roster of rotating hosts including Durant, Kleiman, Taylor Rooks and Speedy Morman. Starting in early 2027, Wondery will distribute Boardroom\u2019s series via video and audio across Amazon services, including Prime Video, Amazon Music and free, ad-supported Fire TV Channels. The shows will continue to be available on Boardroom\u2019s YouTube channel, on Boardroom.TV and wherever podcasts are available.<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to Amazon, the deal also promises to \u201csupercharge\u201d Boardroom\u2019s signature live events \u2014 held in conjunction with the Super Bowl, NBA All-Star Weekend and other major sports and entertainment moments \u2014 while \u201cunlocking new advertising opportunities across video and social channels.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDurant said in a statement: \u201cWe built Boardroom knowing that fans care just as much about the culture behind sports, music and entertainment as we do. We\u2019re excited to work with the best-in-class team at Amazon to bring that insider access to even more fans worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Amazon\u2019s growing creator and sports offerings, we saw a natural fit. We can\u2019t wait to get to work expanding Boardroom\u2019s footprint, connecting with even bigger audiences, and creating fresh opportunities for brands to work with Boardroom\u2019s media and signature live events.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKleiman, who serves as Boardroom\u2019s CEO, commented: \u201cThis has been a tremendous year of growth for us at Boardroom, and working alongside the Amazon team to amplify everything we have built starting in 2027 is going to bring us to a new level. This partnership marks a significant next step for both our team and our fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBoardroom joins Wondery\u2019s roster of creator-led franchises. Those include the recently announced deal with Oprah Winfrey\u2019s Harpo Entertainment for \u201cThe Oprah Podcast\u201d and more; \u201cNew Heights\u201d with Jason and Travis Kelce; \u201cBaby, This Is Keke Palmer\u201d; \u201cMind the Game\u201d with LeBron James and Steve Nash; and \u201cArmchair Expert\u201d with Dax Shepard.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoardroom\u2019s media arm produces daily newsletters and premium video showcasing how athletes, executives, musicians and creators are moving the business world forward. The company claims its network reaches over 52 million unique visitors each month.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoardroom\u2019s events include the annual CNBC x Boardroom Game Plan Summit, NBA and WNBA All-Star weekend activations, and other tentpole moments like F1 Miami and U.S. Open. In June 2025, Boardroom launched Boardroom Members Club, an integrated membership community blending premium content, live programming, curated access and professional development. In addition, Boardroom Sports Holdings invests in sports teams and leagues, including Paris Saint-Germain FC, two-time NWSL champions Gotham FC and MLS\u2019 Philadelphia Union.
