Gallagher developed the series with writers Noah Gallagher and Clifford James Taylor; the creative team also includes Layout Director Galen Chu (\u201cIce Age: Collision Course,\u201d \u201cFerdinand\u201d) and Head of Story Moroni Taylor (\u201cThe Super Mario Bros. Movie,\u201d \u201cThe Iron Giant,\u201d \u201cDespicable Me\u201d). The series targets kids aged 7\u201312 and family audiences.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tOne of the more unusual aspects of the production is its staffing model: the series was made largely by recent AnimSchool graduates, the accredited 3D animation school founded by Gallagher, whose own feature credits include supervisory roles on the \u201cIce Age\u201d franchise, \u201cRio,\u201d \u201cRobots,\u201d and \u201cHorton Hears a Who.\u201d The show has accumulated more than 11 million lifetime views and taken home Gold and Silver honors at the Telly Awards and Gold and Audience Choice recognition at the Collision Awards.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re very excited to partner with Toonz Media Group for this next chapter of \u2018MechWest,&#8217;\u201d Gallagher said. \u201cOur team has made the series independently, one episode at a time, and it\u2019s very rewarding to see the show resonating with audiences.
