\n\tFollowing up Monday\u2019s teasing announcement, Passion Paris and ADN have confirmed they have entered into co-production on an animated series adaptation of the globally acclaimed webtoon \u201cHero Killer,\u201d to be helmed by \u201cMoonlit Bamboo Forest\u201d director David Pagaille.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement was made today at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and joins a strong line-up of Passion Pictures projects presented at this year\u2019s edition.<\/p>\n

\n\tBased on the hit action-fantasy webtoon published by Jaedam Media and created by writer Kkulbeol and illustrator Beolkkul, \u201cHero Killer\u201d is one of the most successful action titles on Naver Webtoon, the largest South Korean digital comic and webtoon platform.<\/p>\n

Beyond its spectacular battles and unique visual identity, it features a compelling heroine and a rich cast of characters that have already captivated millions of readers worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAvailable in 10 languages worldwide and spanning more than 250 published episodes, \u201cHero Killer\u201d has indeed captivated millions, and the teams are setting up to bring the scale, intensity and emotion of the original material to the screen for a global audience.<\/p>\n

\n\tTo mark the announcement, the production unveiled a brand new, exclusive illustration from original creators Kkulbeol and Beolkkul and its first official teaser visual and launched the project\u2019s official online channels, including the website http:\/\/www.herokiller-anime.com and official Instagram and X accounts.<\/p>\n
