\n\tCasa Amor participant Alannah Keyser will no longer appear on Season 8, Peacock has confirmed, after videos surfaced on social media of her singing along to the n-word in a song. Additionally, users have circulated an Instagram comment and a Snap message in which she uses the same slur. The videos were originally posted to private accounts and weren\u2019t shared publicly until after Keyser\u2019s appearance on the show, so they would not have been accessible during Peacock\u2019s vetting process.<\/p>\n

\n\tKeyser\u2019s exit follows that of Vasana Montgomery, who was booted off the show for the same reason before Season 8 even premiered. But the trend isn\u2019t new: Last year, during \u201cLove Island USA\u201d Season 7, Yulissa Escobar was removed\u00a0during the second episode because of videos of her using the n-word, and later in the season,\u00a0Cierra Ortega exited after using a racist term for Asian people that she\u00a0claimed she \u201chad no idea\u201d was a slur.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Keyser\u2019s case, both the video and screenshots were posted online after she made her debut on Sunday night and received widespread backlash online.<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite her dismissal, Keyser appeared in the first 20 minutes of Thursday\u2019s episode, sharing a chat and a kiss with partner Zach Georgiou, and later slept in the bed with him. Keyser then appeared briefly in two non-speaking scenes before narrator Iain Stirling announced her exit, saying \u201cAlannah has left Casa Amor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKeyser is a 21-year-old film student at USC, originally from Miami, Fla. She first appeared on \u201cLove Island USA\u201d Season 8 during Episode 17, when she was introduced as a Casa Amor bombshell. (Casa Amor refers to the show\u2019s midseason twist, which brings in new islanders to test existing relationships.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLove Island USA\u201d releases new episodes daily except Wednesdays. Ariana Madix serves as host while Iain Stirling narrates.
