The series was produced for Nat Geo EMEA in association with Fremantle, which holds international distribution rights outside Nat Geo\u2019s European, African and Middle Eastern territory footprint. Hannah Hoare serves as series director; Nell Gordon and Drew Jones executive produce for Nat Geo, and Donovan Chan for Beach House Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tYang \u2013 widely known for HBO\u2019s \u201cSilicon Valley\u201d and the film \u201cCrazy Rich Asians\u201d \u2013 narrates all three episodes.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cI love Pandas, I love Chinese culture, and I can\u2019t believe how much I\u2019ve learned about these cute fluffy guys after narrating the show. It\u2019s really one of the most fun jobs I\u2019ve had. \u2018Panda School\u2019 has all the drama of a coming-of-age story \u2013 with maximum cuteness overload,\u201d Yang said.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cSecret Weapons of China\u2019s First Emperor\u201d (1\u00d760\u2032) examines how Qin Shi Huang rose from regional ruler to unite China\u2019s rival states more than two thousand years ago, and the military innovations \u2013 including mass-produced bronze weaponry and standardised equipment \u2013 that allowed Qin Shi Huang to raise armies at unprecedented speed and scale. Produced in partnership with CMG, which granted exclusive access for the project, the film draws on immersive reconstructions and recent archaeological discoveries. The emperor\u2019s burial complex, stretching across 22 square miles, remains unexcavated.
