The event takes place during EIFF\u2019s 79th edition, running Aug. 13-19.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=3283\">Romantic Dramedy Series \u2018La Vida Barcelona,\u2019 Directed by Katina Medina Mora, Boarded by Beta Film (EXCLUSIVE)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cTrainspotting\u201d producer <strong>Andrew Macdonald<\/strong> called the homecoming \u201ca very special night,\u201d while EIFF CEO and festival director <strong>Paul Ridd <\/strong>said the chance to finally honor \u201cthe most iconic Scottish film ever made\u201d in the neighborhood where it originated would make for \u201ca night for the ages.\u201d Following its EIFF premiere, the film will be re-released by Park Circus in U.K. and Ireland cinemas starting Aug. 21, before rolling out internationally.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<strong>THAI TRANSPLANT<\/strong> <\/h3>\n<p>\n<strong>CJ ENM Hong Kong<\/strong> has licensed a package of six Thai drama series adapted from Korean originals to India\u2019s <strong>Amazon MX Player<\/strong>, with the full slate launching July 2. Produced by <strong>True CJ Creations<\/strong>, the package includes \u201cDear My Secretary,\u201d \u201cGood Doctor,\u201d \u201c23:23,\u201d \u201cStart-Up,\u201d \u201cHappiness\u201d and \u201cThank You Teacher,\u201d spanning romance, drama, thriller and sci-fi genres.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAll six series will stream in Hindi-dubbed versions with English subtitles on Amazon MX Player\u2019s ad-supported service, and will also be accessible via the Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, JioTV and Airtel Xstream. CJ ENM Hong Kong framed the deal as part of a broader push into format adaptation and cross-border collaboration as demand for Korean IP and Southeast Asian content grows internationally.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<strong>GOTHIC GATHERING<\/strong> <\/h3>\n<p>\n\tFull casting has been set for the U.K. premiere of <strong>\u201cJane Eyre,\u201d<\/strong> a musical by John Caird and Paul Gordon based on <strong>Charlotte Bront\u00eb<\/strong>\u2018s novel, running at Southwark Playhouse Elephant from Aug. 28-Oct. 24. The five-time Tony-nominated musical, which premiered in Toronto in 1996 before transferring to Broadway in 2000, marks its 30th anniversary with the U.K. staging, produced by Adam Blanshay Productions in partnership with original Canadian producers David and Hannah Mirvish.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<strong>CHILDREN\u2019S CHORUS<\/strong> <\/h3>\n<p>\n<strong>Lyric Hammersmith Theatre<\/strong> has set full casting for a 10th anniversary production of Lucy Kirkwood\u2019s \u201cThe Children,\u201d directed by the venue\u2019s artistic director, Rachel O\u2019Riordan, running Sept. 2-Oct. 3.
