\n\t\u201cTalladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby\u201d will be racing back into theaters this summer to celebrate the comedy\u2019s 20th anniversary. The film will return to theaters nationwide on June 28, June 30 and July 1.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNASCAR stock car racing sensation Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) is a national hero because of his \u2018win at all costs\u2019 approach,\u201d per the film\u2019s official logline. \u201cHe and his loyal racing partner, childhood friend Cal Naughton Jr. (John C. Reilly), are a fearless duo \u2014 \u2018Thunder\u2019 and \u2018Lightning\u2019 by their fans for their ability to finish so many races in the #1 and #2 positions, with Cal always in second place. When flamboyant French Formula One driver Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen) challenges \u2018Thunder\u2019 and \u2018Lightning\u2019 for the supremacy of NASCAR, Ricky Bobby must face his own demons and fight Girard for the right to be known as racing\u2019s top driver.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTalladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby\u201d also stars Gary Cole as Reese Bobby, Michael Clarke Duncan as Lucius Washington and Leslie Bibb as Carley Bobby.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tFirst released on August 4, 2006, \u201cTalladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby\u201d grossed more than $163 million dollars worldwide, with over $148 million of that total coming from the domestic box office. The comedy picked up an MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss and a Teen Choice Award for Choice Comedy Movie Actor.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film was written by Ferrell and Adam McKay, the latter of which also directed. Jimmy Miller and Judd Apatow produced \u201cTalladega Nights,\u201d and Oliver Wood served as the director of photography.<\/p>\n
