\nZara Larsson has left her decade-plus home at Epic Records and signed with RCA Records, Variety<\/em> can confirm.<\/p>\n

\n\tTwo sources tell Variety<\/em> that the pop star has inked a new deal with RCA. The sources say that Larsson was entertaining offers from multiple labels but that Sony, which houses subsidiaries Epic and RCA, wanted to keep her on the roster, so they worked out a deal for her to be on RCA.<\/p>\n

\n\tRepresentatives for Epic and RCA did not respond to multiple attempts for comment or confirmation.<\/p>\n

\n\tLarsson has called Epic home for more than a decade, signing to the imprint in 2013 and releasing her breakthrough international album \u201cSo Good\u201d in 2017. Over the years, she stuck with the label for her 2021 album \u201cPoster Girl\u201d and its follow-up \u201cVenus\u201d in 2024, though she failed to make a significant impact on the charts.<\/p>\n

\n\tBut the long game paid off last year, as \u201cMidnight Sun,\u201d her fifth album, sparked an unexpected surge for Larsson, who scored several viral hits including the project\u2019s title track, her 2015 single \u201cLush Life,\u201d and \u201cStateside,\u201d her collaboration with PinkPantheress.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs her singles began to percolate on the charts, Larsson toured the world on her \u201cMidnight Sun\u201d tour, with demand rising to the point that several venues for shows in Australia were upgraded to accommodate the growing interest. Larsson, who is currently on tour through the beginning of November, managed to find time to record and release the remix album \u201cMidnight Sun: Girls Trip\u201d in early May, featuring guest appearances by Shakira, Kehlani, Tyla, Robyn, and many more.<\/p>\n
