\n\tThe Collector\u2019s Edition release includes the film in 4K with Dolby Vision and HDR10, along with English Dolby Atmos audio, a Blu-ray disc and a digital copy. The release also comes with bonus features, including \u201cObsession Unleashed\u201d and a feature commentary with 20 year-old Curry Barker, who wrote, directed and edited the film.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cObsession\u201d follows a hopeless romantic who breaks a mysterious object known as the \u201cOne Wish Willow\u201d in an attempt to make his longtime crush fall in love with him. But the wish quickly curdles into something far darker, as he discovers that getting exactly what he wants comes with a sinister price. The film stars Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless and Andy Richter. <\/p>

\n\tThe film has quickly become one of 2026\u2019s\u00a0most unexpected box office stories, turning a low-budget horror premise into a cultural juggernaut. The film has grossed more than $370 million worldwide, making it Focus Features\u2019 highest-grossing movie to date. In another rarity for scary movies, audiences and critics have been enthusiastic about \u201cObsession,\u201d as evidenced by the film\u2019s \u201cA-\u201d grade on CinemaScore exit polls and the 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn his\u00a0review of the film,\u00a0Variety<\/em>\u00a0film critic Guy Lodge writes that \u201cBarker chooses his shocks as carefully as his yocks, timing them so that they count, and wasting no energy on needless explanations and background lore.\u201d\n\n<\/p>\n
