Obama in 2015. \u201cWe just started this conversation, and we have been in this dialog for all these years. It\u2019s deeply personal,\u201d Walker said. \u201cAfter my partner died, Sally was amazing. Four years later, I called her when I went on my first date. So to see her name then to turn up here on the list of clients with Emmy nomination\u2026She had already sent <em>me<\/em> an email.\u201d\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn addition to Field, another notable Emmy nominee is Mathew Rhys, who picked up two for his work on \u201cThe Beast Within Me\u201d and \u201cWidow\u2019s Bay.\u201d It\u2019s the first time in more than 30 years that an actor got lead noms the same year in both limited series\/movie and comedy. Betty Gilpin also nabbed a nom for \u201cWidow\u2019s Bay.\u201d Sarah Pidgeon was recognized with a nod for her portrayal of Carolyn Bessette in \u201cLove Story: John F. Laurene Powell Jobs, whose Emerson Collective acquired a stake in the company in 2016, was instrumental in bringing Walker to Anonymous from the Ford Foundation, where he had been for 12 years.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cIt has not been an easy few years [at Anonymous] and that\u2019s not a secret,\u201d Walker said. \u201cKnowing that under not the best circumstances, they\u2019re able to achieve this \u2014 I can\u2019t really take credit for what they did because it\u2019s only been five months for me \u2014 it\u2019s pretty remarkable and so I can imagine what we\u2019ll be able to do with leadership, and candidly, with more capital, because we will have that, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSo what was Field\u2019s dating advice?<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cI hadn\u2019t been on a date with a man in 28 years, since I was 30 years old,\u201d Walker recalled. \u201cI called her from the Acela train coming from Washington. She said, \u2018Darren, calm down,\u2019 because I was so excited\u2026She said, \u2018Take your time.
