\n\tSurprise, bitch. I bet you thought you\u2019d seen the last of the \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d coven, but the witches are officially back in the first set photos from the production of \u201cAHS\u201d Season 13. The images are the latest confirmation that the new episodes will continue the story of 2013\u2019s \u201cCoven,\u201d which was the third season of the anthology show and one of its most beloved runs.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAHS\u201d stalwarts Sarah Paulson and Emma Roberts headline the first set images alongside returning players Frances Conroy and Gabourey Sidibe. New to the coven appear to be Leslie Grossman (a Ryan Murphy regular), Avantika and Alex Consani. Additional cast members spotted on the New York City set on July 9 were Cara Delevingne and Charlie Carver.<\/p>\n

\n\tFX previously announced that \u201cAHS\u201d 13 will feature the long-awaited return of Jessica Lange, the anthology series\u2019 most iconic star who has not appeared since 2018\u2019s \u201cApocalypse.\u201d Franchise regulars Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts and Billie Lourd will also be back. The cast also feature Ariana Grande, John Waters, Murphy\u2019s \u201cLove Story\u201d breakout Paul Anthony Kelly and Joey Pollari.<\/p>\n

\n\tPlot details for the new season remain under wraps. The network first let it slip that the \u201cCoven\u201d storyline was returning when it dropped a first look photo in July of Sarah Paulson with the caption: \u201cThe Return of @mssarahcatharinepaulson as Cordelia Goode. The Supreme Rises. And yes we have rebuilt the entire Robichaux Academy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d Season 13 will premiere on FX and Hulu on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n
