It follows Guillermina and Belinda, two inseparable cousins growing up on neighboring farms in Argentina\u2019s Pampas.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBeginning in 1999, when the girls are just nine, Sanguinetti captures their childhood games of make-believe slowly giving way to the weight of adulthood \u2013 work, family, motherhood and diverging paths. Set against the rural landscape of the Argentine Pampas, the film offers \u201can intimate, female-centred counterpoint to the region\u2019s male-dominated gaucho mythology, becoming a profound meditation on time, friendship and what endures,\u201d according to a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe film is produced by Julia Solomonoff, and co-produced by Mubi and Impact Partners.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=4298\">Sundance Institute Sets Talent Development Pact With UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tSanguinetti is a Guggenheim Fellow, and has received a Hasselblad Grant, a Sundance Grant and a Rencontres d\u2019Arles Discovery Award. Her monographs include \u201cOn the Sixth Day,\u201d \u201cThe Adventures of Guille and Belinda\u201d (volumes 1 and 2), \u201cSome Say Ice\u201d and \u201cSorry Welcome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tHer work has been collected and exhibited by MoMA, SFMOMA, MFA Houston, Museo de Bellas Artes Buenos Aires and Fondation Cartier-Bresson. She has been a Magnum member since 2007.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSolomonoff was the chair of Tisch Graduate School of Film at New York University, where she continues to teach. She wrote and directed the feature films \u201cSisters\u201d (Toronto and San Sebastian), \u201cThe Last Summer of La Boyita\u201d (Cannes ACID winner) and \u201cNobody\u2019s Watching\u201d (Tribeca), the limited series \u201c15 to the Hour\u201d for Paramount+, and the documentary series \u201cParana, Biography of a River\u201d and \u201cAerocene Pacha: A Sustainable Utopia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAs a producer, Solomonoff focuses on emerging talent from Latin America.
