The result, says Lyndsay Signor, senior vice president of marketing at NBC Sports, is a connection that will result in NBC and the League being able to send each participant information about how to watch the team during the 2026-2027 season, which kicks off across NBC, Peacock and Versant\u2019s USA Network.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cWe have a lot of data that shows people out there who are discovering soccer for the first time through World Cup don\u2019t want it to end,\u201d she says. \u201cThey want to keep their fandom going.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMore players in the 2026 FIFA World Cup are from Premier League than any other organization \u2014 182 played in Premier League last season or are signed up for this coming one. Among that number is Erling Haaland, the Norwegian soccer player who has seen his profile increase during World Cup play.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cSo many of the Premier League stars are breaking through in the World Cup,\u201d notes Signor. \u201cIf you\u2019re not a core fan, you can see them play all year long though the Premier League.
