We bring our dogs to work; it\u2019s like a family affair. We grew up on those movies! It\u2019s like coming home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAs for those marriage rumors, Zendaya once again declined to confirm she and Holland are hitched. \u201cNo, I\u2019m not going to do that,\u201d she told Elle writer Alexis Okeowo.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tZendaya has been on the road so much lately, there\u2019s only one way her family can keep track of her. I was so tired, but I was also learning my Chakobsa lines for\u00a0\u2018Dune.\u2019 And then I started writing out my lines to memorize for that quick turnaround trip I was going to make to Iceland [for\u00a0\u2018The Odyssey\u2019],\u201d Zendaya said. \u201cIt\u2019s not like I have a lot of lines in\u00a0\u2018The Odyssey,\u2019 but I was working with Christopher Nolan! The most embarrassing thing in life would be messing up my lines, which did happen once.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNot that it bothered the director. \u201cWe would be in the maddest, craziest situations, just all of us fighting the elements, tearing our hair out, all these things going on, and she would sort of parachute in from her other job with this sense of true grace and poise,\u201d Nolan told Elle.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNolan said he cast Zendaya because of that \u201ciconic\u201d grace. \u201cI mean, she\u2019s literally playing a goddess [Athena]; it\u2019s a tall order,\u201d he said. \u201cShe\u2019s a true movie star, but also an incredible actor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCo-stars Matt Damon, who plays Odysseus, and Holland, who plays Telemachus, got a bit jealous of Nolan\u2019s praise of Zendaya\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cChris is known for being very circumspect. So when you do a take, it\u2019s not like he says, \u2018That was great.\u2019 He\u2019ll go, \u2018Yep, good. Okay.\u2019 And that is the equivalent of the greatest praise you could ever get,\u201d Damon said. \u201cZendaya, on the other hand\u2014there were takes where she did one thing, she did this amazing scene, and he said, \u2018Cut.\u2019 And then he went, \u2018Perfect.\u2019 And literally, Tom [Holland] and I were obsessed with this. She got a \u2018perfect\u2019? I\u2019ve never even gotten a \u2018great.\u2019 She got a \u2018perfect\u2019?
