\n\tAlthough Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt are close collaborators, they allegedly had one moment where they disagreed while filming 2019\u2019s \u201cOnce Upon a Time\u2026 in Hollywood.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tThe anecdote comes via co-star Bruce Dern, who spoke with People while celebrating a new documentary about him debuting at Cannes Film Festival named \u201cDernsie.\u201d A \u201cDernsie\u201d is the name given to little lines or moments Dern has improvised in order to enhance his onscreen performances. <\/p>\n

\n\tOne of these came up while Dern was shooting a scene with Pitt for \u201cHollywood,\u201d and he described what happened when he improvised.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen Brad Pitt wakes me up in \u2018Once Upon a Time\u2026 in Hollywood,\u2019 I\u2019m in the bed and I get up and I\u2019m a little groggy and stuff and I just say, \u2018I\u2019m not really sure what\u2019s going on,’\u201d Dern said. \u201cI\u2019m looking at him. [Pitt] cut the camera. He cut the camera. The look on Quentin\u2019s face \u2014 I mean, he was insanely grave \u2014 and he said, \u2018Brad, what did you just do?’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe said, \u2018Well, I cut the camera.\u2019 He said, \u2018Never again in your life will you ever cut a camera or you\u2019ll be dead in this business. That\u2019s my domain. Don\u2019t stop behavior,’\u201d Dern said. \u201cSo then we went on and did the scene and all Brad did was say to him, \u2018Well, that wasn\u2019t in the script what he said.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOnce Upon a Time\u2026 in Hollywood\u201d was a critical and commercial hit which ended up being nominated for 10 Academy Awards and winning two,\u00a0including a supporting actor trophy for Pitt.<\/p>\n
