They will report to company\u2019s president of U.S. distribution Benjamin Kramer and round out a team that includes former Lionsgate distribution head David Spitz.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cThis is another big moment in Black Bear\u2019s growth as a domestic distributor, as we welcome two exceptionally talented and respected executives,\u201d said Kramer. \u201cAudiences connect with films and filmmakers via a broad swath of touchpoints, from trusted friends and tastemakers and on screens of all shapes and sizes. Bianca and Heather deeply understand today\u2019s audiences and have shown their ability to drive engagement with innovative and resonant campaigns. They will be great additions as we continue to build a leading theatrical distribution business. We are thrilled to welcome them to Black Bear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFounded in 2011, Black Bear began as independent production studio and launched its domestic distribution arm in 2025 with \u201cChristy,\u201d which bombed at the box office with $2 million against a $15 million budget. The group plans to release 12 films a year, with upcoming titles including David Leitch\u2019s \u201cJason Statham Stole My Bike,\u201d starring the titular Jason Statham and Hannah Waddingham; Julia Cox\u2019s \u201cA Woman in the Sun,\u201d featuring Ren\u00e9e Zellweger and Sissy Spacek; Andrew Patterson\u2019s \u201cThe Rivals of Amziah King\u201d with Matthew McConaughey; and \u201cSpa Weekend,\u201d led by Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau and Anna Faris.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=4626\">Clipping Comes to the Movies: How Micro-Influencer Agency SGG Media Helps the Ground Game for Hollywood Marketing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tParkes, who will serve as head of marketing, joins from Neon, where she worked on Oscar winners including \u201cParasite\u201d and \u201cAnora\u201d as well as genre films such as \u201cLonglegs\u201d during her seven years at the company.
