\n\tAudible is adapting the Gothic horror novel for English, Castilian Spanish, French, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Each production features a full ensemble cast.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe English-language production of Audible\u2019s \u201cDracula\u201d stars Jonathan Bailey (\u201cWicked,\u201d \u201cBridgerton\u201d) as Dracula, Ella Purnell (\u201cFallout\u201d) as Mina, Aimee Lou Wood (\u201cThe White Lotus\u201d) as Lucy, Louis Partridge (\u201cEnola Holmes\u201d) as Jonathan, David Jonsson (\u201cIndustry\u201d) as Dr. Seward, Lesley Manville (\u201cPhantom Thread\u201d) as Mrs. Westenra and Maggie Gyllenhaal (\u201cThe Dark Knight\u201d) as Professor Van Helsing.<\/p>\n

\n\tLeading the international language casts as Dracula and Mina respectively are Omar Sy and Deva Cassel (French); Riccardo Scamarcio and Benedetta Porcaroli (Italian); Matthias Schweigh\u00f6fer and Jeanne Goursaud (German); Asier Etxeand\u00eda and Claudia Salas (Castilian Spanish); and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda de Tavira and Esmeralda Pimentel (LatAm Spanish). <\/p>\n

\n\tHere\u2019s the story of \u201cDracula,\u201d as summarized by Audible: When her fianc\u00e9 vanishes in Transylvania, Mina Murray pieces together fragments of letters, diary entries and chilling testimony to hunt the predator stalking those she loves, only to discover he\u2019s already hunting her. When Mina\u2019s closest friend Lucy succumbs to his thrall, the enigmatic Professor Van Helsing is summoned to wage war on this unfathomable threat. But it is Mina, with her intellect, her resolve, her gift for drawing unseen lines between clues, who may hold the key to stopping this ancient predator \u2014 if he hasn\u2019t already found his way inside her mind.<\/em>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAudible\u2019s \u201cDracula\u201d launches Oct. 1, 2026, for English, French, Italian, Castilian Spanish and LatAm Spanish; the German version will premiere Feb. 9, 2027. Those are available now to preorder on Audible. The Brazilian Portuguese version is slated to debut sometime in 2027; the cast has yet to be announced. <\/p>\n

\n\tAudible\u2019s \u201cDracula\u201d is directed by Mary Lambert \u2014 known for directing film adaptation of Stephen King\u2019s cult horror classic \u201cPet Sematary\u201d \u2014 in her audiobook directorial debut. The novel is adapted by writer Robyn Ahern, recipient of the Bisha K. Ali Screenwriters Fellowship, for her first lead credit. The audiobook features an original score by Ilan Eshkeri (Audible\u2019s \u201c1984,\u201d \u201cHouse of Guinness\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tOther Audible Original adaptations include Jane Austen\u2019s \u201cPride and Prejudice\u201d and George Orwell\u2019s \u201c1984.\u201d In addition, Audible recently released full-cast audiobooks of all seven novels in J.K. Rowling\u2019s \u201cHarry Potter\u201d series.<\/p>\n
