\n\t\u201cBy historically accurate, he means whiter than Christmas at Cracker Barrel,\u201d Domingo joked during his stint as guest host on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live\u201d on Wednesday night. \u201cOf course, this is all because Elon and his Musketeers are upset over the diversity casting of\u00a0\u2018The Odyssey.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDomingo centered much of his opening monologue on Musk, who vowed that before the end of the year, his AI tool Grok \u201cwill make a full-length movie of The Odyssey that is historically accurate and true to the art of Homer.\u201d Musk also\u00a0shared a three-minute clip\u00a0of an AI-generated scene adapted from the poem, which was manufactured by a user on Grok.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOf course, this is all because Elon and his Musketeers are upset over the diversity casting of\u00a0\u2018The Odyssey,\u201d Domingo said. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t want to get technical here, but you can\u2019t make a historically accurate version of something that is totally made the fuck up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDomingo is the latest in the industry to mock Musk\u2019s recent crusade against Nolan\u2019s adaptation. Earlier this week, the \u201cDoctor Strange\u201d director Scott Derrickson addressed Musk directly on X, tweeting \u201cClearly @elonmusk doesn\u2019t know shit about cinema & he stopped reading in his 20s.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMusk has railed against Nolan\u2019s \u201cOdyssey\u201d long before it was released due to his perception of certain \u201cwoke\u201d casting decisions. In March, the tech mogul wrote that \u201cChris Nolan is an anti-White racist\u201d for casting Lupita Nyong\u2019o in the role of Helen of Troy, said \u201cChris Nolan has lost his integrity\u201d and called the casting an \u201cinsult\u201d to Homer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
