\n\tGrey leads an ensemble cast that includes Matthew Law (\u201cNemesis,\u201d \u201cAbbott Elementary\u201d), Jamie Clayton (\u201cSense8,\u201d \u201cHellraiser\u201d) and Alexander David Pleasant (\u201cAbbott Elementary\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tSet on the eve of NASA\u2019s most ambitious space mission, \u201cThe Day Before\u201d follows Dr. Erynne Washington (Grey), the first astronaut selected for a historic one-way journey to Mars. As the world celebrates her achievement, Erynne spends one final day on Earth with her husband, Marcus (Law), and their young son, Noah (Pleasant), knowing she will never return home.\n\n\t\n\n<\/p>\n

\n\tClayton plays news anchor Caroline Shaw (Clayton), who sits down with Erynne for her final televised interview. The short recently wrapped production in Los Angeles and will be positioned for a 2027 festival premiere.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Day Before\u201d is produced by Grey under her banner Bishop Street Production, as well as two-time Emmy nominated producer Zackary Drucker (\u201cThe Stroll,\u201d \u201cTransparent\u201d), Jonathan Olson and Student Academy Award winning producer Ilayda Cetinkaya.<\/p>

\n\tIn addition to Wachowski, executive producers include Jalen Jones, Grafton Doyle and John Reyes Doyle of Equites Productions and TransLatin@ Coalition president and CEO Bamby Salcedo.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrey is a writer, director, and actress whose credits include \u201cEmpire,\u201d \u201cHow to Get Away with Murder,\u201d \u201cMacGyver,\u201d \u201cThe Resident\u201d and \u201cThe Alienist.\u201d She is represented by Zero Gravity Management, GVA Talent Agency and Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka Finkelstein & Lezcano.\n\n\t\n<\/p>\n
