\nChad Smith threw Studio 8H for a spin when he took the \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d stage, impersonating this week\u2019s host Will Ferrell.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be back hosting \u2018Saturday Night Live,’\u201d said the Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer, whose resemblance to Ferrell has been joked about for decades. \u201cI was a cast member here for seven years. And now I\u2019m hosting for the sixth time!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter a minute, Ferrell rushed on stage and asked, \u201cWhat the hell do you think you\u2019re doing? You\u2019re not the host. I am!\u201d Ferrell continued, \u201cWhat the hell is wrong with you? He pushed me down backstage. And I fell, hard. Lorne had to give me mouth-to-mouth. Seriously, what are you even doing here?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Ferrell finally banished Smith from the stage, he took a question from the audience, calling on \u201cthe cute one\u201d \u2014 musical guest Paul McCartney.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have a question. What do you think you\u2019re doing, Chad?\u201d the Beatle asked Ferrell, who replied: \u201cLook, I understand your confusion. Me and Chad do look a lot alike. But I\u2019m Will. I\u2019m hosting tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMcCartney: \u201cNice try, Chad. Get back. Get back behind the drums where you belong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFerrell then began naming some of the great songs written by McCartney over the years, drawing out the bit by listing 17 Beatles, Wings and McCartney hits. \u201cBut people often forget there\u2019s some great songs you didn\u2019t write,\u201d Ferrell continued. \u201cThe alphabet song. \u2018Timber\u2019 featuring Pitbull. All the Smash Mouth stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
