It was announced on Thursday that the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team took over the case and believe McLean to be the victim of a homicide. McLean was last seen at his home in Lions Bay, British Columbia, Canada.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cOn May 20, IHIT deployed and assumed conduct of the investigation,\u201d a press release on Thursday said.  \u201cSquamish\u00a0RCMP\u00a0continues to work closely with IHIT and the Integrated Forensic Identification Service (IFIS)\u00a0to advance the investigation. Squamish\u00a0RCMP\u00a0initiated an investigation and, through investigative efforts, uncovered evidence that led investigators to believe Mr. McLean was victim of homicide.
