\nAMC Global Media\u2018s \u201cThe Walking Dead\u201d franchise will stream on both Netflix and AMC+ beginning in 2027 as part of a new five-year, $500 million licensing deal.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe co-exclusive global licensing pact between Netflix and AMC Global Media covers the original \u201cThe Walking Dead,\u201d as well as all six of its spinoffs, including \u201cFear the Walking Dead,\u201d \u201cThe Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,\u201d \u201cThe Walking Dead: Dead City,\u201d \u201cThe Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live,\u201d \u201cThe Walking Dead: World Beyond\u201d and \u201cTales of The Walking Dead.\u201d In total, that\u2019s 371 episodes.<\/p>\n

\n\tLicenses for each series will begin on different dates in different geographic territories, following the expiration of existing streaming licenses, per AMC.<\/p>\n

\n\tNetflix has held the exclusive U.S. streaming rights for \u201cThe Walking Dead\u201d since 2011. The new deal will allow AMC+ to stream the main series for the first time ever, and extend the show\u2019s availability on Netflix the U.K., Italy, Australia and New Zealand, among other territories.<\/p>\n
