She\u2019s also the star and executive producer of her <em>own <\/em>reality show, \u201cHouse of Stassi,\u201d currently streaming on Hulu and Disney+.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=5357\">Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock Surprise Fans at \u2018Practical Magic\u2019 Screening in Hollywood Forever Cemetery for L.A.\u2019s Cinespia<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cThis is not \u2018Vanderpump Rules\u2019 and this is not \u2018The Kardashians,\u2019 this is somewhere in the middle,\u201d Schroeder tells <em>Variety<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThroughout the debut season of \u201cHouse of Stassi,\u201d we see Schroeder struggle mightily with trying to balance motherhood, family and her professional life, leading to clashes with her hubby Clark, who feels underappreciated and emasculated after stepping away from his casting job to be a stay-at-home dad raising their kids; her sister, Georgi, who\u2019s still reeling from a divorce, crashing at Schroeder and Clark\u2019s home and almost certainly hooking up with Clark\u2019s best mate Rob; and Katie Maloney and Kristina Kelly, her former \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d ride-or-dies, who lightly disapprove of her dismissiveness toward Beau. There\u2019s also her longtime pal Taylor Strecker (and her pregnant wife Taylor Donohue), Beau\u2019s Italian half-sister Georgia (who\u2019s also crashing with Schroeder and Clark) and, yes, Rob, a dude pushing 50 who only dates twenty-somethings. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThings come to a head in the eighth and final episode of the season, titled \u201cQueen Mary\u2019s Revenge.\u201d The entire gang (sans Donohue, who\u2019s beaming in via iPad) is having dinner aboard the historic Queen Mary ship in Long Beach, California, when they all hatch a plan, conceived by Maloney, to confront Schroeder over her treatment of Clark, who\u2019s spent the entire season lamenting the dearth of affection in their relationship and missing his 9 to 5. Nearly everyone at the table, Clark included, airs their grievances toward Schroeder and, needless to say, it does not go well.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cI felt like Julius Caesar. <em>Literally<\/em>,\u201d Schroeder says of the intervention. \u201cKatie Maloney was Brutus, and Beau fell for the bait. I watched it happen and was like, \u2018How are you falling for this?\u2019 Kristina Kelly was like, \u2018Poor Beau!\u2019 and Beau was like, \u2018Poor me!\u2019 and I was like, \u2018Oh my god, my life is flashing before my eyes right now.\u2019 I did not spend over three-and-a-half years working on this for it to lead here. It was wild. I felt very hopeless and devastated in that moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSchroeder says she felt like all the progress Clark and her had made during the latter part of the season \u2014 including a romantic date they went on at the cemetery where he\u2019d proposed \u2014 all \u201cunraveled so quickly,\u201d and that she and Maloney, the architect of the intervention, still have some work to do to fully mend things.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve said some things to her and we\u2019re good, but I still have some more to say to her,\u201d Schroeder explains. \u201cI also think she wasn\u2019t doing it to be cruel or to make me look bad. I think she was looking at Tom Schwartz and her marriage in terms of how resentment can build over something. I think Katie saw herself in Beau and Kristina saw herself in Beau, in the sense that they hadn\u2019t gotten what they needed at certain times, so that was their concern. Downs on the Legacy of \u2018Hacks\u2019 and Which Character Needs a Spinoff First<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tAfter the gang gives her the business, Schroeder\u2019s \u201cDark Passenger\u201d comes out \u2014 her name for her explosive alter ego \u2014 and she finds herself lashing out at everyone before crumbling into a ball of tears on the floor of the ship. But don\u2019t be alarmed: She is adamant that she and Clark are in a good place and, even though she infamously dropped the D word on \u201cVanderpump Villa,\u201d that is not in the cards for the couple.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cAs far as what it took afterwards, I feel comfortable being on a reality show with [Clark] because no matter what, we have that foundation where we do have each other,\u201d Schroeder maintains, adding, \u201cMy parents have both been married four times each and his mom has been married a few times, and that was something we discussed. Unless someone does \u2014 you know what I mean \u2014 you can work through almost anything when you have respect and love for each other, so it makes having those fights and arguments on-camera easy to deal with because I know that we\u2019re going to be fine. That might not make sense to someone who\u2019s not on reality TV, but it does for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAnd as far as the future of \u201cHouse of Stassi\u201d and where the friend group goes from there, Schroeder shares that she wants the cast to remain intact and <em>may<\/em> have some tricks up her sleeve as far as getting the show renewed for a second season.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cI hope that this [cast] remains intact, but it\u2019s going to follow the stories that are naturally happening.
