\n\t\u201cMade in Korea\u201d will return for a second season on Sept. 9, streaming exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu, with stars Hyun Bin, Jung Woosung and Woo Dohwan reprising their roles for the six-episode continuation of the crime noir series.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 2 picks up with Baek Kitae, played by Hyun Bin, still climbing toward power in the aftermath of framing prosecutor Jang Geonyoung. Now serving as deputy director within the Korean CIA, Kitae has grown his wealth and influence while expanding drug operations throughout the region. As political turmoil and public discontent grow, Geonyoung, played by Jung Woosung, emerges from the shadows to chase down a revenge plot nearly a decade in the making. The season sees both men escalate their tactics as they attempt to eliminate each other for good. Woo Dohwan returns as Baek Kihyun, Kitae\u2019s brother.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 2 is written by Park Eunkyo, who also wrote the first season along with credits including \u201cThe Silent Sea\u201d and \u201cMother.\u201d Woo Minho, director of the first season and of \u201cThe Man Standing Next\u201d and \u201cInside Men,\u201d returns to direct. Hive Media Corp, the company behind \u201cInside Men,\u201d \u201cThe Man Standing Next\u201d and \u201c12.12: The Day,\u201d produces.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe season will launch with a two-episode premiere on Sept. 9, followed by two new episodes each Wednesday through Sept. 23.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 1 of \u201cMade in Korea\u201d was 2025\u2019s top-viewed Korean original series premiere on Disney+ within the Asia-Pacific region. That season followed Kitae as an ambitious KCIA agent leading a double life, working as a government operative by day while running an illegal smuggling operation by night. His rise up the ranks eventually brought him into conflict with Geonyoung, a prosecutor who refused to be bought off.<\/p>\n

\n\tDisney+ and Hulu\u2019s Korean drama slate also includes \u201cA Shop for Killers\u201d seasons one and two, \u201cThe Manipulated,\u201d about a man seeking revenge after being wrongly convicted of a crime, and \u201cTempest,\u201d centered on a conspiracy that puts the Korean Peninsula\u2019s stability at risk.<\/p>\n
