{"id":5475,"date":"2026-08-04T12:36:48","date_gmt":"2026-08-04T12:36:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=5475"},"modified":"2026-08-04T12:36:48","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T12:36:48","slug":"baywatch-swims-to-prime-video-in-canada-latin-america-india-and-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=5475","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Baywatch\u2019 Swims to Prime Video in Canada, Latin America, India and Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<!-- do not apply CSS styles to this element! --><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\n\t\u201cBaywatch\u201d is heading to Canada, India and Europe, among other territories, thanks to a new multi-territory between international distributor Fremantle and Prime Video.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=5474\">Jesse Eisenberg\u2019s Musical Comedy \u2018The Debut,\u2019 Starring Julianne Moore, to Close London Film Festival<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe pact also includes the original series\u2019 complete back catalogue, including spin-off \u201cBaywatch Hawaii.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tItaly, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Canada, Latin America and India will be able to access the new and rebooted 12-episode season of the sun-soaked drama in 2027 as well as all past seasons.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe show, which is produced by Fremantle and Fox Entertainment, is set to debut in the U.S. in January 2027. In the U.K. it will land on Sky.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cBaywatch\u201d will see a new cast of lifeguards don the iconic red swimsuits as they patrol the world\u2019s most famous stretch of sand, navigating ocean dramas as well as personal ones. \u201cArrow\u2019s\u201d Stephen Amell leads the series alongside Jessica Belkin (\u201cElle\u201d) as Charlie Vale and Shay Mitchell (\u201cPretty Little Liars\u201d) as Trina.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tJoining them are Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, Noah Beck as Luke and Brooks Nader as Selene while David Chokachi reprises the role of Cody Madison and Livvy Dunne portrays Grace.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=5472\">\u2018Spider-Man: Brand New Day\u2019 Lands Biggest Opening Weekend in Middle East Box Office History<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tOriginal castmembers Erika Eleniak, Michael Bergin and Kelly Packard will return as guest stars.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMichela Di Mondo, Fremantle\u2019s EVP for international distribution, brokered the deal.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be partnering with Prime Video to bring the new \u2018Baywatch\u2019 to audiences across multiple territories, while also giving fans the opportunity to revisit the original series they know and love,\u201d Di Mondo said. \u201cFew shows have made as big a splash or had such lasting cultural impact as \u2018Baywatch,\u2019 and this landmark deal marks a significant moment for one of the industry\u2019s most eagerly anticipated launches.
