\nTodrick Hall\u2019s \u201cMidnight\u201d will make its North American premiere this fall off Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre following two sold-out engagements in London.<\/p>\n

\n\tJoining Hall in the cast will be Jeremy Beloate (\u201cThe Voice\u201d), Jimmy Brewer (\u201cShucked\u201d), Kennedy Caughell (\u201cHell\u2019s Kitchen\u201d), Dwayne Clark (\u201cShucked\u201d), Sidney DuPont (Tony Award nominee, \u201cParadise Square\u201d), Ayana George (\u201cMJ The Musical\u201d), Autumn Hurlbert (\u201cTammy Faye\u201d), Kolbi Jordan (\u201cAmerican Idol\u201d), Sarah Lynn Marion (\u201cOrdinary Days\u201d), Ciaran McCarthy (\u201cKinky Boots\u201d) and Charlotte Odusanya (The Wiz).<\/p>\n

\n\tHall wrote the show and directs and choreographs it. \u201cMidnight\u201d is set in the American South during the 19th century. It features a wholly sung-through score that blends gospel, rhythm and blues, pop, rock, folk, opera, and musical theatre, and follows twelve interconnected lives, six Black characters and six white characters, whose relationships challenge the worlds they have inherited and the assumptions they carry.<\/p>\n

\n\tPerformances will begin Sept. 12 with an official opening night set for Sept. 27. The limited engagement is scheduled to run through Nov. 8.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe ensemble also includes Gregory Carl Banks Jr., Kyla Bartholomeusz, Keely Beirne, Zachary Bigelow, Brandon Burks, Jaylon C. Crump, Abbey Friedmann, Ndaya Dream Hoskins, Omar Madden, Brayden James Newby, JJ Niemann,, Barnaby Reiter, Aveena Sawyer, Nissi Shalome, Bronwyn Tarboton, Jenni Thomasson, Matthew Varvar and Emily Yates.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe creative team includes Laurence Stannard (Music Supervisor, Arranger, Co-Orchestrator, Music Director), Mark Crossland (Co-Original Orchestrations), Morgan Large (Set Designer), Beck Jones (Costume Designer), Jake DeGroot (Lighting Designer), Lawrence Schober (Sound Designer), Charles G. LaPointe (Wig & Hair Designer), Sujotta Pace (Casting Director) and Stephen Kopel (Casting Director). The production stage manager is McBee. Production management is by Parish Productions LLC\/Lauren Parrish. General management is by ShowTown Theatricals.<\/p>\n

\n\tHall came to fame on \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d and through YouTube. He became a resident choreographer and judge on\u00a0\u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race\u201d and appeared on Broadway in \u201cWaitress,\u201d \u201cKinky Boots\u201d and \u201cChicago.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n
